Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

Definitely still following mate, you've been on such a good journey, hope you do keep this going for a long time!

Been following this a bit silently (Read everything in about 3 days) and i've been loving it.

It actually made me return to FM after 5 years without playing it, the bumps and the plot twists just kept feeding the excitement to the story. (Almost made me inspired enough to start my own, despite being a rookie at the game overall)

Amazing job on the development and I hope it carries on! :]

Seems so weird to see Hazard with 250k value and Messi with 2M.

If they still have some of their stats those are some surreal signings by Wigan

Hazard, Kroos and Messi.. That's crazy!

I had to double take when I saw they had 2 Emyr Huws, then realised it was the break in images lol

Haha some unreal players!

How did they do last year?

Last year I think they were like 11th! the season before that or the one before that they come 4th! They have a very good team don't they!

Something is strange with Hazard, hadn't played for Chelsea in 3 years, but has no long injuries either? And he's only 32...

Haha yeah! Can't get it all on one full screenshot! I always mess it up though haha!

That is weird, I had the same thing happen in one of my long-term saves.

What happened? Tycoon?

No Tycoon no!

Wigan seem to be strangely good with transfers :P

They beat me to the signing of a good regen while at Sunderland too!

Just read the whole story! Need the glory season you had with liverpool back! Trophies has been less after liverpool i noticed!

So it turns out that pre season was a walk in the park. 37 goals in 4 games shows that this team full of superstars have settled in well, and with my tactics may just be one of the best ever to grace a football pitch. We will soon find out.

August will be a good month to start. We could finish the month with two trophies in the bag already. The only easy game is Elche at home. We have a very hard week starting on Wednesday the 23rd. But I'm confident in our ability.

Just here to state that I'm still reading, just not commentating, I stop when I reach the final page so I don't spoil myself or anything.

Going to do big updates as I've already got bored of life at Madrid. I'm going to try winning everything this year and look for an actual challenge. The big problem I'm having is that the success is coming too quickly everywhere I go. After my time at Madrid is up I'm going to look at possibly retiring. I wanted to keep this going until FM16 but I'm not sure if the story still has any real life in it.

I think sweeping the board with Real is as good a time as any to bow out. Take a rest and come back with another story!

It happened again. I collapsed to the floor in front of the 100,000 people at the Nou Camp. We had just lost 3-2 in the Super Cup second leg but because of our 5-0 win from the first leg the trophy was ours. I ran out of my seat to celebrate but I dropped and cut our celebrations short.

It was a good job we had such great medical staff on the scene, with ours and Barca's rushing out to help me. I could see the end, I didn't think I was getting out.

I blacked out again and luckily enough I did wake up. It was as big of a scare in football since the Fabrice Muamba incident.

I had spoken to the doctor's in length after waking up. They believed that I should take a break from the game. It was extremely hard to take. I'd just landed one of the biggest jobs in the world. But I had a family to think about. After all is said and done, there is more to life than football.

20 trophies in my short managerial career is something to be proud of. It's a shame I struggled to stay at one club. I live with some regrets by leaving Liverpool, I could have made it as the worlds greatest in my eyes. 3 Champions League wins to my name is enough to prove I grew in my role as a manager. For now, it's time to step down. Thank you for all of the support throughout the journey. A journey of twists. DTIDY.
