Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

Will try to throw out an update tonight, I have football and I'm supposed to be seeing the missus but the scoreline I have just had in the Champions League is one I want to show with all of you, such a strange one!

Rumours coming out of Melwood today are that Daniel Sturridge has become an unhappy figure at Anfield. The English striker has fell down the pecking order since the return of Luis Suarez and the recent form of Gabriel Barbosa for the reds and is thought to be considering his options as he is not getting the playing time his talent deserves. It’s a tough one for manager Jamie Carragher as he will want to keep Sturridge after his fine form for him last season which helped Liverpool win the League and the Champions League, but he has 2 strikers ahead of him and the reality is they are better options. Many have suggested opting for 2 upfront as this will allow the players to be happier but why should Carragher change the system that has won Liverpool their first title in 28 years. Even if one of the two strikers fall out of form, Liverpool have Edison Cavani as a third option with Sturridge. With Arsenal thought to be making a bid in the region of £25 million in January, could this be the end of his Liverpool career?

They're all brilliant players and thats why I plan on keeping them all, but keeping them all happy is tough.

Play a 4-3-3 with high wing backs mate, always mean to post the tactic but then forget! haha, it's attacking football too (As you can probably tell by the scores) you liking it?

yeah, you dont see many tactics about in this version with as decenet a defence and the amount of goals in your prem season, nice work.

I'm not sure I could agree on decent defence! We tend to leak in so many goals, haven't kept a clean sheet this season! But yeah the goals are smashing in! Thanks mate
 
44 in 38 is great compared to some of the 'win all' i swear on my grandma is a diablo tactics doing the rounds. they are all the same shape and scored 150+ and conceeed 70+ in a prem season.

i'll take a 2-0 or 3-1 over a 6-4. :)

Fair point yeah! You see a lot of tactics on this that are just breaking the game too! So many corner bugs and if you get into the habit of just using other peoples tactics you take the whole fun of it away from yourself! I've tried other peoples tactics but not on this story!

Thank bud! That's the plan, think I've finally found my club! The way we are playing so far this season I'm quietly confident of winning everything!

You are defo on your way! I have tried many Liverpool saves over the years and I haven't ever quite made it work since about FM08 lol! Well a team that has Sturridge and Cavani as 'back up strikers' is a team worthy of any title to me!

Definitely going to take a short break to focus on my other story, getting sick of this. I will have to update from when the champions league groups again but I already did that again yesterday so I will have a few days off because it's repetitive, if I change my mind I will update, sorry guys! Not sure why it's done it this time because I saved it properly...

Well, at least the other story can begin now. Just hope this save isn't gone...
 
I absolutely hate this corrupt save thing. I always alternate between two different files so it's never a long catch up
 
Hey buddy, sorry to see about the save corruption but at least you came prepared with a back-up!

I'll keep an eye out for your other story, should be a good read (Think i started reading it before), I'll probably be starting a new one of my own soon...Just a side project, but the Managerial Rollercoaster thread seems to have died down since I moved to Italy, which was a little bit expected...
