Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

Really enjoyable read so far.

Are you going to accept the England job if it's offered?

Quality story, great that you've kept at it!

Just started a similar Thierry Henry Managers Story, fingers crossed it will be as good and as popular as yours!

Any tips on how to often to update, style etc to keep people reading?

Thanks mate :) If it's offered to me it's something I will look at! Never managed a national team before

It's a nice start to it, erm I find big pictures, lots of screenshots, and for me match by match updates seem to work, but that's my preference, everyone is different :)

Sorry for lack of updates by the way. As you all know I'm a busy person on the weekends hence why I hardly update, and I watched Arsenal beat United last night :D

David Moyes returns to Everton
View attachment 293533
David Moyes has today been reappointed as Everton Football Club manager. Moyes has returned after Roberto Martinez left the club to join Chelsea. It is thought that Everton fans are delighted of the news due to Moyes very good consistency, unlike Martinez. Moyes left Everton in 2013 to join Manchester United as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor but was never given the time to adapt to life at Old Trafford. United finished 7th that year and that was Moyes' first and last season at the club. With Everton in 5th place, Moyes is coming in at a god time for the club.

Hey mate great update.

Thanks bro! This week has been hectic so I've not actually been on my save :( I'm hoping to go on it tonight, but I have football and my dad wants to go for a pint so I might struggle again! haha

January Transfer Targets
View attachment 292673Rafael Varane
Varane is my number one priority in January. As this season has gone on Chicires is beginning to make more mistakes than usual, and with Skrtel aging and Andre Wisdom looking to be on his way out, the French centre back will be the perfect replacement. Whether we can prize him away from the Bernebeu is another question.

View attachment 292672Gareth Bale
Bale is a player who I've always dreamt of bringing to Anfield, but it always seemed impossible. There are rumours that he wants to join Liverpool, but it would cost. To bring this deal in I will have to offer a Cavani + cash deal, but it would be worth it, he's proved himself in this league already!

Unwanted by Arsenal, Wilshire is available for as little as £10 million at the moment. Although our midfield is packed with talent, with Isco and Allen unhappy with their game time, and Ward Prowse struggling for form, Wilshire could fit the gap should one of them leave.

Expect an update tonight! After the Liverpool game of course! But I'm in the mood for a long session on it tonight so hopefully we get through a month or two :D

We let it slip today, and to choose a team it had to be Arsenal, who are in second place. Hopefully we can get up and recover quickly, we are top of the league and have 2 games in hand, so we can still push on. A win today would really have put us in pole position. Arsenal have give themselves some hope today, with a 90th minute goal from the speedy attacker Theo Walcott.

December Review

A great month which was however shadowed with our first defeat of the season. We won the Club World Championship which meant we are on track to win all 7 cups this season. Arsenal tightened the gap on us with that win, here is the league table:

Still top of the league with two games in hand. I consider us strong favourites this year, Arsenal seem to be the only threat, but they still have to come to Anfield.

To have 4 players make the team of the year and then another on the bench is some achievement, and also shows how far we have come as a club. We're back up there with the best!
