Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

A Barbosa inspired win see's us shake off that poor game at Arsenal already. Hopefully we can push on and get another run like we did before the Arsenal game, Barbosa really seems to be showing that he is our number one striker, and has definitely cemented a starting place in the squad.

6 months enough for Gaya
View attachment 290740

Liverpool have accepted a £6.75 million deal for Jose Luis Gaya from Besiktas and another un-named club. Gaya has reportedly become frustrated at life in Merseyside as he has failed to get game time through the amazing form of Ivan Baez. Liverpool manager Jamie Carragher has also opted to choose Kieran Gibbs as second choice compared to Gaya, who has only made 1 appearance since arriving from Valencia in August. It looks like Gaya could be the first of many to leave the club in the near future, with Andre Wisdom and James Ward Prowse struggling for game time at Liverpool.

Sorry but i've lost track of what season you are in, would you mind letting me know when you have a spare minute?

My thoughts and views

I’m not someone who likes to admit this, but I’ve made a mistake. I brought in Cavani and Suarez this season, both at 31 years of age, and although they show class I can’t help but think I’ve aged the squad. Luis Suarez proves his worth for me. Cavani does in a sense too, but I had a perfectly good striker in Dybala, who was 7 years younger than Edison. I think I’m going to cash in on cavani before he turns 32, as the chance of getting any money that I brought him for back is slim. I have complete intentions of keeping Luis Suarez, he’s a fans favourite and plays amazingly well every time he puts the red shirt on.

I’m also not too sure on Daniel Sturridge right now. He’s not getting a serious amount of game time, but when he does, he flops. His form has dipped majorly in recent weeks and as much as I love what he’s done for the club, his time may be up. I would want him to move abroad though so he does not affect us.

Talking of players coming in, I’ve grown major interest for Kevin De Bruyne, and am looking at a deal to bring him in. It could possibly be an Isco + cash deal to tempt Wolfsburg into selling him.

All in all I am extremely happy with the squad we have. We have a mix of young players as well as experienced. My 4 favourite players which I do want to tie down to this club for a long time are Coutinho, Sterling, Barbosa and Baez. We’ve been dominating games down that left side of the pitch, where Baez and Sterling are out on the flank, and Coutinho is on the left side of the centre midfielders. As Barbosa has hit 26 already this season, I think he could develop into the world’s best striker. Time will tell.

If you want a young striker I suggest berardi or Kennedy they are both young and have great potential in fm 15.

Did Mario leave before you took over? Or did you off-load him?

I haven't managed Balotelli in FM 15 yet but he has an impressive scoring record against me in FM 15 (he has close to 2 goals per game against all my FM 15 clubs)

Left sadly! He's amazing on this game isnt he! I've looked at bringing him back, but it's all about the time and money!

A dominance that we expected. I was pleased with the performance from what we would probably call our second team. 4 different scorers is always nice too! We progress to the fourth round of the F.A cup and that's the start we needed. This today was probably Jordon Ibe's last appearence for Liverpool, as I am looking to sell him now before the end of his contract in June.

After a long think, I decided that I would let Cavani and Ward Prowse go, I offered them both to clubs and received nothing. When asking them to speak to clubs, they both said they wanted to fight for a place in the team. I can't help but admit that won me over, it shows real passion, Cavani has the talent to. I don't think Ward-Prowse does. If they don't show me nothing by the end of the season. They are gone.

For the third game in a row we scored 5 goals, lovely. This is more than a match to me as Fulham were the first club I managed, and I was treated awfully there. Raheem Sterling was mesmerising today with some of the dribbling he did. Flanagan added to his goal tally to reach 5 for the season, it;s something he's really adding to his game. We have two more home games in the league next in Swansea and United, let's hope for 6 points!

Wolfsburg accept De Bruyne bid
View attachment 290597
Wolfsburg have accepted a bid of in the region of £32 million for attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne from Liverpool. De Bruyne has been at Wolfsburg for 5 years after leaving Chelsea for £18 million. The Belgium international has made 207 for Wolfsburg while scoring n impressive 64 goals and creating 52 goals.

I am delighted to be able to welcome Kevin De Bruyne to Anfield. The Belgian will be a brilliant addition to our list of midfielders. Unfortunately one of them is going to have to leave. For me, Ward Prowse just does not cut it as a world class player, and it will probably be him.

It was a debut today for Kevin De Bruyne in front of the kop. I decided to start him so he could fit in early, and what a debut it was. We started off well with Luis Suarez scoring a neat little finish. Markovic doubled out lead with a lovely goal. Then De Bruyne really started getting into the game as he scored a lovely effort on the turn. Our young left back banged one in on the edge of the box before KDB set up Luis Suarez to finish off the rout, again 5 goals were scored. This is a Swansea team who we're third in the league before this game too.

After looking at this table and seeing Barcelona 7th,
I couldn't help but be tempted to go for Messi,
as a matter of fact he was unhappy,
I've put together a monster offer to Barca,
it's just a matter of whether they will accept.

A huge offer, but we are talking about the best player to have ever walked the planet.

I'm sorry, but I won't pay that wage to bring him in, I can't anyway!
