For a book it would need much more writing! But thanks :)

Very kind words indeed mate, nice to see i have a new follower too! I'd keep a look out because I'm not going to finish it!

This is a brilliant story and a well deserved winner of the award! So many twists and turns that it's hard to keep track of :P Maybe you should plan on going back to Fulham at some point?
Anyway, keep up the great work!

I know, sometimes I don't even mean too, like yesterday I had no initial plans to leave Everton, and then I added a little storyline and just ran away with it, it was coincidence Sunderland offered me a job :P I'd definitely not go back to Fulham as it wouldn't run with the story how much I "dislike" them! And Mask has a amazing Fulham story on the go so as a club they don't need anymore!

Thanks for the comment mate :)

I have just received a promotion in work which means I may have to work away a couple of nights a week and will be staying in hotels from time to time, so I won't have anything to do but play FM. What a shame! ;)

Just read this from the beginning and well, well, well, this is a good story, xJamieWilliams. Or should I call you by your real name, M. Night Shyamalan? (Geddit, cause all you've been doing is throwing twists into a FM story.)

Hahahah how long did that take you?

Hmm could be a new name :P

This has exploded in the last week! I went away with you having just ground Liverpool into the dust and now you're back at Sunderland with Gerrard at your side and Liverpool are top of the league! Can't say I'm complaining :P

Congrats on Story of the Year too btw, well deserved!

It had been a long day, I had been going through the basics with the lads of the way I wanted them to defend in the away leg at Dusseldorf. With a 6-1 lead I was preparing a weaker squad. Especially with a tough away game at Norwich coming up in the league. Wickham really impressed in the hold up role I was looking to use for the match. After what I seen today I trust the lads will see the second leg through. It also gives some of the better players more time to rest, so we did well to come out with that result.

I had a chat with Steven Gerrard to ask him his opinions on Loftus Cheek, and if he seen the potential I had seen in him. He agreed, but does not believe he will go as far as I think he will, but time will tell there.

So I was in a good mood, but before I got into the Range Rover, Ellis Short called me round to go to his for a meeting. Why? I would be about to find out...

Martin ******* Skrtel!

He's put a bid in for Loftus Cheek which matched his release clause. £13 million. The only reason he knew his release clause was because we talked about him while we were at Everton. He hasn't signed the contract yet so until he does, he can still leave. I'm hoping I can keep him here, and I'm getting straight on the phone to him.

"Ruben, we've got some news"

"Yes boss?"

"Athetic Bilbao have bid, matched your release clause so the choice is down to you, but come into my office tomorrow and hear me out before you make any decision."

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm signing the contract tomorrow. Don't worry about that at all. You've put a lot of faith in me so far and I love this club and I wan't to help us stay up."

"There are not enough players like you around son."

Astonishing. 26 years of age, living in the cold city of Sunderland, and he's rejecting the chance of sun as he loves his football. This is a rare breed nowadays and I'm lucky to have someone like him here.

Loving this, Carragher should publish a autobiography: The Rise and Fall and Rise and Fall and Rise of Jamie Carragher
Loving these big wins aswell, and to think 162 pages ago, you were struggling to win.
