Not sure he'll make it at BSP level JP but your choice none the less

He scored on his debut :P

The players ive managed to bring in for the season:

MATCH RESULTs 1-5

Grays Vs Chester 1-1 Draw :S
Opening day of the season and Chester Manager John Wood looked up for it,however Grays Glenn Pool had other idea's as he opened the scoring on 8 mins.Chester though were playing well in the new Diamond formation Wood had incorporated and on 31 mins Nick Chadwick scored a much deserved equalizer.Chester continued to dominate but just couldn't get the winner.Wood wasn't too happy,he said after the game "we were robbed today,Grays should wear a mask and striped jumpers in future"
Chester Vs Gateshead 2-0 Win :)
After a good performance last week Chester picked up where they left off with a straight forward win against a very ordinary Gateshead team.Adam Kay on 38 mins opened the scoring, although his moon celebration to the Gateshead crowd earned him a booking.Lloyd Ellmas on 87mins rounded off a good day for Chester.
Chester Vs Cambridge 2-0 Win :D
A great Ben Wilkinson opener on 3mins ensured Chester picked up where they left off last week.In a one sided game Chester won comfortably, even the ancient Jean Pierre Papin scored on76 mins, although im not sure scoring with a zimmer frame is legal.
Oxford Vs Chester 2-0 Loss :(
Reality hit home for Chester today as they where well beaten by a very useful Oxford side,James Constable 45 and 77 mins scored both.Wood can have no complaints but im sure he'll find some.
Luton Vs Chester 4-0 Loss :@
Chester where played of the park today by Luton.Former Boro reject Tom Craddock opened the scoring after 7mins. It was one way traffic and former QPR legend Kevin Gallen doubled the advantage on 39 mins, much to the annoyance of Wood who threw his bacon butty to the floor in disgust.Chester's Anthony Barry then scored an embarrassing OG on 52mins,Wood shot up and screamed "why cant you do that up the other f***ing end you spanner" Craddock completed Woods misery scoring his 2nd and Luton's 4th. Wood said after the game "well at least Nick Owen will be happy tonight"

shaky start there, just a hint please put goalscorers if possible, would love to know who scores mate

I remember giving one of these a go with Leeds and Juventus on previous games and feeling totally demoralised winning 8-10 games in a row and still being in a ghastly position.

Good to see you with your own story though. I am sure most will follow.

i've never seen you make any story and im glad that i've finally got the chance to see a master tactician do a story. good luck :D

Good luck JP
It should be dificult enough
But im sure you should managed
I'll be following

MATCHES 6-10 update.

Chester Vs Mansfield 0-0 draw :)
A truly awful match and not one for the purist. The game will be best remembered for Wood getting hit on the head by a half eaten Cornish Pasty threw at him by a Chester fan.Wood however will be pleased getting a 0-0 draw against top of the table Mansfield.

Altrincham Vs Chester 4-4 draw :O
Wow!!! an amazing game game here today,if last weeks Chester showing was a crime against football then this was the complete opposite.Andrew Murphy opened the scoring with an own goal after just 5 mins only for Lloyd Ellmas to equalize in 15 mins.Roscoe D'Sane then restored the home sides lead with a pen on 34 mins and Chris Senior doubled Altrinchams advantage on37 mins, however Chester werent out of it and on 40 mins Kevin Roberts reduced the deficit to 1 goal.On 42 mins there was controversy as Chester were awarded a dubious pen which Greg blundell slotted home with all the grace of a baby Elephant. Into the 2nd half now and Altrincham quickly restored their lead after 49 mins,Dale Johnson slotting home from close range but yet again Chester came back and on 51 mins after a mix up in the box the ball hit Blundell's back side and went in for a deserved equalizer. What a match.
Chester Vs Histon 1-1 draw :S
A game Chester should and could of won, they started well with Nick Chadwick opening the scoring on 4 mins, they continued to be good value for the lead but then disaster as Chesters Michael Lea is sent off for violent conduct,Wood was furious and threw his bottle of Wkd blue at him as he jogged down the tunnel, the straw actually catching his ear.Chester fought like Zebra's until in the 85th min they succumbed to a Danny wright equalizer.
Chester Vs Tamworth 2-0 win :D
Brilliant and much needed result for Wood, but it was never in doubt with Tamworth only managing 1 shot in the entire game, not much for their traveling army of 6 fans to shout about. Ben Wilkinson scored 2 fabulous goals on 31 and 47 mins. Wood was overjoyed and ran the length of the pitch to kiss him.
Eastbourne boro Vs Chester 1-1 draw :'(
Wood's Chester came so close to winning this. They took the lead on 28 mins through Ben Wilkinson,he obviously enjoyed the kiss he got last week,3 in 2 now for the gifted AM. Eastbourne levelled though through Andy Atkin. In the 94 th min though Chester where awarded a pen,up stepped a confident Kev Roberts but he sliced it terribly and the ball went out for a corner to Eastbourne.Wood laid motionless on the pitch for at least 10 mins.

Ive updated Match results 1-5 now to include match reports.

MATCHES 11-15 update.

Chester Vs Stevenage 1-0 Win :)

Chester went into this on the back of a 5 game unbeaten run, although some cynical Chester fans preferred to say 1 win in 7. Wood though was optimistic and in good spirits (Namely Vodka) Chester started brightly and took the game to stevenage from Kick off but couldn't break down some strong Stevenage resistance.Whatever Wood said at HT worked,in the 55th min Nick Chadwick rose like a Salmon to meet a Wilkinson cross and make it 1-0,which it stayed till FT.

Salisbury Vs Chester 2-0 Win |)

This was a must win game for Chester against fellow relegation rivals Salisbury. Wood stoked up the match before hand by declaring "if we lose to this lot today we deserve to go down, and i deserve to be horse whipped" Strong words indeed from Wood. His team didn't let him down though, and dominated the game for 90 mins with their efficient and direct style of play. John Paul Abalo opened the scoring on 5mins heading in a corner, and Gregg Blundell completed the scoring on 75mins with an unstoppable 6 yard thunderbolt. Good times for Chester.

Wrexham Vs Chester 3-0 Win :D

This was a game with a bit of pre match spice added to it.Wood allegedly saying he hates Wales, the Welsh and hope they fail, however Wood was quick to distance himself from the comment saying it was merely a joke in reply to some John Hartson Comments. If this was a wood ploy to distract Wrexham from the game it worked,Wrexham didnt turn up and were comprehensively brushed aside by in form Chester 3-0. Blundell opened the scoring on 2 mins then Lloyd Ellmas added 2 of his own,one a dubious pen on 73 mins the other a simple finish on 87.Wrexham boss Dean Saunders was Sacked after this match.

Chester Vs Forest Green 1-0 Win ;)

Chester went 9 games unbeaten here today and finally went into + points with an efficient but by no means entertaining win against Forest Green. In fact the most entertaining moment in the match was when linesman Andy Frank fell over the ball boy and had to be stretchered off. As for the match Lloyd Elmas scored the only goal of the game with a tap in on 15 mins.Chester are nothing if not effective and without a points deduction would now be lying 2nd.

Hayes & Yeading Vs Chester 2-0 loss :(

John Wood and his Chester team where brought crashing back down to earth today with a 2-0 defeat, there first in 10 games. In a scrappy match it was Hayes & Yeading who managed to take their chances as Chester fluffed there's. Frank Padovani opened the scoring on 33 mins with a neat finish. In the 2nd half Tom Cadmore killed off Chester with a pen on 62 mins. Wood said after the game "we never turned up today,in fact i wish we hadn't"

Good story JP. Give alexis nikolas a look up, did ok with me for hayes up until league 1.

MATCHES 16-20 update.

Chester Vs Rushden 2-0 win :)

After defeat in their last game John wood was hoping Chester could get straight back on the winning trail today at home to mid table Rushden. In a very one sided game Chester dominated from kick off,but couldn't break down a spirited Rushen Defence. As the game went on Wood was looking more and more frustrated as his side missed chance after chance, however the break through was finally made on 75 mins when ref Gary Kellett awarded a dubious pen and Ben Wilkinson converted.Shaun Kelly made it safe 11 mins later with a great free kick from 25 yards.

Gateshead Vs Chester 2-0 loss :(

John Wood made the trip back to his native North East with his Chester side a day early so they could enjoy a night out in Newcastle. Wood defended this controversial idea saying "the lads have worked hard under enormous pressure and need to relax" However this back fired on Wood as Chester were easily beaten. With several of his players clearly suffering hangovers Gateshead got an easy 3 points. Phil Turnbull opened the scoring on 26 mins scoring from 40 yards into an empty net as Chester goalkeeper Andrew Murphy was busy throwing up the previous nights Kebab. Micheal Mackay completed the misery on 59 mins. Wood was unavailable for comment after the match.

Burscough Vs Chester 1-0 win ^^) FA Cup 4th qual round

Wood was pleased with this win against lower League Burscough in the FA cup but the Chester fans where less than impressed. Nick Chadwick on 68 mins scored the only goal of the game in a drab affair. Wood defended the performance after the game saying "i don't care if the fans dont like me or my methods,im a results orientated manager and im getting results which is what Chester need"

Chester Vs AFC Wimbledon 2-0 win :D

Chester really needed to win this to put the embarrassment of Gateshead behind them. Chesters task was made harder on 12 mins as Kevin Roberts was sent off for headbutting Wimbledons Jon Main.Wood was furious. Chester rallied though and played well despite having 10 men.Rhys Menyell opened the scoring on 40 mins ith a header from a corner.Nick Chadwick made it 2-0 78mins. Wood was a happy man after the game.

Chester Vs Port Vale 0-0 draw :O FA Cup 1st round

Chester went into this FA cup game as clear underdogs against Port Vale, who where going well in league 2. In a drab affair it was Woods spoiling tactics which annoyed Vale. Probably one of the most boring FA cup games of all time, but Wood was all smiles. The Chester fans chanted "BORING BORING CHESTER"
