Are you changing to Defensive for away games?

Looks good JP will give it a bash me thinks.

I'll give it a try, it looks good , let's hope my Ajax will become champions!

Off: Can someone help me? I installed FM 2010 with STEAM, now i can't find my data editor because i don't know where it's installed! Can I download a data editor somewhere?

Computer> C Drive > Programme files > Steam > Steam Apps > Common > there you will see a "tools" file,go into it then go into the file called editor, there you will see a little football icon, shortcut that to your desktop too, thats your editor.

Aaaaah your awesome!

Btw just played me first match with your tactic and it was a draw. But they were playing very well, my main striker was down with a injury so i had to use my second striker and he sucked.. haha

Hey JP.

I will use this for the rest of my Liverpool season and will give you a update on how things went.

Ive found that you can still play attacking away from home and win well if your strong favorites to win:

OK this is my first attempt at a tactic for FM 2010.I created it in the Demo for Boro and it worked very well scoring loads of goals.Gary O'Neil in the AM role scored a **** of a lot of goals and Gerrard now is doing the same in my new Liverpool save.

Its a 4-2-3-1 formation.

GK,2x FB's, 2xCB's, 2 x box to box mf's, 2 x wingers, 1 x AM, and one poacher.

This download is for the Attacking Variant but i now change to defensive for away games.(click Team Instructions and change the starting strategy to Defensive)

If your losing during the match change the Strategy to Overload for the last 15-20 minutes, and if your hanging on to a lead change to Contain for the last 15-20 minutes of the match.

Please give me feedback on how the tactic goes.

im arsenal was not playing too well changed to this tactic and it works really well regarding fabregas as amc i find playing him in mc and arshavin as amc works best arshavin scores a load had some probs breaking down ultra defensive teams but im putting that down to arsenals physical and height disadvantage really good tactics thanks

If your struggling to break a side down try changing to control.

Ive already set them to how i like them but if you like a different way feel free to change it.

JP. I remember you said that you did not bother using the "oppo instructions" on FM09. I was wondering what do you think about the touchline instruction on this years FM? Do you use them?

This tactic is pretty good if you have the right players in the right positons. Score a lot of goal;s with my Villa side although it did take the team 3 and a half games before they showed some real promise. Now they are playing well regularily.

cheers.

Anyone who knows me knows im a lazy ******* when it comes to tactics.I don't use Opposition Instruction,i prefer 1 single plug and play tactic that sort of thing,i leave all the technical multi tactic and opposition instruction stuff to people like TheBetterHalf,Lee and Zebedee. I usually start with the default attacking and just switch to either Contain or Overload depending how the match is going.

If you do use the OI let me know how it works,i never have much joy with it though.

Im exactly the same. Don't like too much technical stuff and they have made it more difficult this year.

I get my assistant to do the OI, im grateful they put that option in FM10. But its the touchline instructions that annoy me. I have dabbled with them with no great success or without even gaining a greater understanding of them. Im tempted to convert my tactics back to the classic version but just cant do it, yet.

So you don't bother with the touchline instructions either right? yet you do pretty well.

Iv just started a new career with the Villa using your tactics. First game, Stoke. 2-2 draw at the britannia. Highly entertaining. Cheers for them. Hope to see some more soon.

Well ive finished my first season with these tactics and it was pretty successful.

I managed to win the Premiership going the whole season unbeaten and scoring over a hundred goals in the process.Steven Gerrard was brilliant for me grabbing a mighty 39 goals and 25 assists in League and cup.

In the cups i was pretty unlucky,The League cup i was beaten by League 1 Leeds in the 3rd round. The FA cup i was beaten 4-3 in the semi finals after extra time by Man City and the the CL i was also beaten in the Semi finals after extra time 3-2 by Chelsea.

Im in two minds now weather to carry on with this or do a LLM save with a very unfashionable team,i want to create some Long Ball Wimbledon style tactics that they used during the 1980s so im not sure.
