I've noticed this struggles away from home, I'm changing it to defensive, and I keep it as fluid, should it be balanced or rigid? I've so far lost 3-2 to Blackburn away and drawn 2-2 with Fulham away, both came back from going 3-0 or 2-0 down

What team are you? if you are favorites to win just keep it as attacking,or maybe make one of the box to box Mf's a ball winner with defensive mentality's.

West Ham, and yeah was thinking about making Parker be a ball winning midfielder when playing away, I'll tell you how it goes

Getting frustrated with this tactic sadly :( Just played 2 home games, and drew 1-1 with Wolves and 0-0 with Hull.

Dont use it then,i got beat at League 1 Leeds with it as Liverpool, its football,**** happens.

I was just telling you the progress like you wanted when other people were using your tactic.

what do people expect??
a simple tactic change will not make you instantly win every game, its called football manager not football tactician

We never said it did mate, I was just saying I was a little gutted by 2 results, although I've just beaten Man City away 3-1 so it is a good tactic, but then I never said it wasn't.

This tactic revolves around the CAM I suppose. Used it for 5 matches for Sunderland and Steed Malbranque had been brilliant. Won three times (including a league cup match against Tranmere lol), drew once and was slaughtered by Chelsea (first game using this tactic and Chelsea says hi, 5-0). The problem I noticed was that my strikers tend to get low ratings. Maybe it's my striker since it's Darren Bent but he had an average of 6.12 in those five games, doing nothing in the whole game but being offside and missing sitters. Do I need some tweakings on the tactics? Or Darren Bent just plain sucks?

started new season after much promise and gettin hammered also.
gutted aswell as ive bought vagner love and he cant play as hes already played for 2 teams this year! simeon jackson it is then

I'm noticing whatever striker I play, they get a low rating and get caught offside a lot, should I maybe tweak his mentality a little lower?

does anyone find problems when playing against teams with 4-5-1 tactic with this tactic? most notably against wigan, (me as liverpool), i have played against them thrice, lost 1-0, lost 4-3 and drew 3-3..

Just got beat 4-1 at home to Man City, we were just defending badly though, still 7th or 8th in the league I think though :) Also just about to play Liverpool in the League Cup final

Just beat Liverpool 1-0 in the cup final :) Faubert got the winner on the 34th minute, was a very nervy game.

Norwich away Lost 2-1. Weren't favourite's, started defensive then overload for last 20 minutes
Stevenage home Won 6-0. Attacking for the whole game
Barnsley home Won 3-2. Weren't favourite's but decided to overload for the whole game due to home advantage
Swansea home Won 4-1. Favourite's so attacking from the off. We were the worst team but put our chances away
Birmingham away Won 1-0. 3/1 for the win away from home. More possession, least chances but got the one stat that really counts
Palace home Won 2-1 Favourites for this. Even game but played last 23 mins with 10
Coventry away Lost 3-0 Slight favourites for this. We were the better side but I suppose that's just the way the cookie crumbles
Plymouth away Won 3-0 Favourites for this. Played 2nd half against ten men. Easy one in the end
West Brom away Lost 3-1 Slight underdogs to start. By far the better side but lost. Had 5 ccc
Hull home Won 2-1 Evens fav's. Even game in which home advantage probably swung it in my favour

So after 10 games W7 D0 L3 F23 A10

Not bad at all. going to use this for the rest rest of the season. Will report at the end

Wow, one of the luckiest results here.. 3 shots on target all game, 3 goals.

Not using any playmaker / targetman?
looks like a great tactic by the way..
cheers ;)

No I'm not using a playmaker or targetman and I've won the league cup and I'm 8th in the league with 4 games left with West Ham :)
