Thanks mate, this tactic did wonders for me in the German 2nd league.
 
Hey, I'm using this tactic on my Shrewsbury game, was going SO WELL at start of season, no problems attacking, now, something changed. :\ My ST stopped scoring going 1on1 with goallie SO OFTEN it isn't surprise anymore.

So I just wanted to ask, what could be the problem? :\ Do you use any personal tactics for players? Or I just use the default you gave? Also should I use playmaker or similar? :)

My ST is Willie Topp (surely a good player for League 2 mid-table team).

edit: what I forgot to add, is that another problem for my attacking is that my AMC/ST and one of MC's shoots from 20m~ VERY often, and as they suck at long shots, they usually miss. Is that for everyone? :\

I haven't used a playmaker,i used the tactic exactly how i gave it.I don't know why your striker isn't scoring,maybe he's having problems at home. ;)

Try making him a complete forward instead of a poacher and see if that helps.

Oh, I see! :) Cool, will try things. Though whlist waiting for your reply, I have beaten my 2 main opponent teams by quite some results. Just what ****** me off that all my players pass when they can clerarly shoot, and if they shoot, they shoot from 20m~. *.*

Anyways, it seems it's working splendin' at the moment, superb tactic. :)
 
Brilliant tactic. Scoring like crazy with Man City; although I've only played two games.

GK: Given
DC: Toure, Lescott
DL/R: Richards, Bridge
MC: De Rossi, Barry
AMC: Riquelme
AML/R: Trochowski, Santana
ST: Tevez 1st half, Robihno 2nd half.

Mancity 5 - 0 Portsmouth
Mancity 5 - 0 Blackburn

I know they are weak teams but the amount of goals is ridiculous. Rossi (31 million pounds :O) and Barry definitely have the most attempts but Riquelme has a deadly finish (although he has been injured twice already >_<).

One thing that I noticed is with a top team like Man City if I set the tackling to default I get less complaining from my Assistant manager about poor tackling. Also when Robinho is striking he seems to do more damage as a Deep Lying Forward.

Chelsea 4-0 Notts forest
Chelsea 8-0 Swindon (amazing)

I turned the tackling down from default because i was sick of players being sent off.The AM is key to the 4231 set up.Ive changed to a conventional 442 now wit a complete forward replacing the AM and its doing well for my Wimbledon team.

It will work with any team as long as you have the correct players.

Good results,but they were against pretty average sides,hope it works as well in the premier for you.

Good to see you are still kicking out awesome tactics in FM2010 even though I have had some issues with making my swansea team work alright using it. I suspect it's lack of gelling, if there even is such a thing, in FM2010. Regardless, a small request. Would there be any chance you could create a Brian Clough inspired tactic once more? ;) I love that playstyle!

thanks JP, won't be using it for my braintree save as I am doing well enough already, although I might start another game to go along with the braintree save and test them.
Just a question, have you zipped them already like you did with your brian clough ones? Not a problem if you haven't (Don't want to make it sound as though I'm asking for too much:S). Thanks very much.

Im working on a new Cloughy tactic,i dont just want to copy 09s,i want to make a new one using 2010s tactic creator.
 
JP Woody could you maybe upload the 4-4-2 setup you're using for the weaker teams because I get quite badly beaten when I use your v1 tactic on my Charlton save.
 
A fantastic tactic JP. I am using it for Newcastle now and I am ripping up defences. :D

about to try them out against man utd with sunderland, will let you know how I get on
 
Well, honestly speaking I dont know waht happen to my team. I tried, I could say, hundreds of tactics but nothing works. At first I just tried for several match but later on I realized that It didn't come out good if I just tried for a couple matches so I decided to take this one seriously. I played the first season with Sunderland and I ended up at 12th on the table. Wasn't bad huh ? But everything became worse next season even though I bought a lot of good players like Di maria, Gignac, Tosic, Shawcross, Vukcevic, Garays, Insua. My team is currently lying on the 18th position. And I had to play again 3 times starting at the beginning of the season 2010-2011. This is my formation

Gignac
Any idea? I can't believe my team lost 0 -3 at home to Stoke, who is currently lying at the bottom. Whole match I got only 3 shot and 1 on goal, 2 off target. Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It kept happening to me all the time
