Keegan dismisses England hopes with Rooney doubts

Keegan is a silver spoon manager, who cares what he thinks. When the going gets tough he walks away.

I personally have no worries with Crouch and Defoe as are both capable of getting goals. But I feel neither of them will have opposing teams frightened like Rooney does. Crouch and Defoe are easier to keep under raps I think, they only play one way. Where as Rooney has many facets to his game, he can play on the last man, attack from deep at speed....he keeps defenders guessing.

As for Heskey.....well he isn't going to get us goals at all. Hopefully Capello will take Bent as well, he isn't technically skillfull and alot of the stuff he does isn't pretty...but the boy can score.

Every team has its Talisman, for England its Rooney. Even with Rooney chances are very slim, without him dont even bother to think about chances.

I agree with him. We will get to the Quarter Finals and crash out. We are not Brazil or Spain.
