THESE ARE 16.2 TACTICS
THEY SHOULD STILL WORK BUT HAVE BEEN UPDATED AND EACH TACTIC HAS OWN THREAD


For me the object of playing FM is to win the PL with the original Spurs squad (no buys or sells). Job Done with 442dm tactic.
Should add, played the last 4 mths of season without Harry, so had to improvise for forwards.

I noticed the tactic testing databases and instant result. To compare instant result with a normal season I played a season with Man City.

I also enjoy a few seasons in lower leagues, hence the Woking season (451 tactic).

I am now using Wills testing league to test old tactics and new ideas.

I use the *** Man for everything I can except OIs, because there are No OIs.

Control was used with Will'S Tactic League. However, I used Counter with Woking although my preference is to use Standard.

Counter appears to work better at Home Control Away.

For very difficult Away games try Overload - nothing to lose anyway.

Which tactic you used for the Man City game? and which one for the Spurs game?

Which one do you think is best?

Maybe it would be a good idea to put that information in OP, because I can imagine that many people will ask this :D

Have you used the 451 tactic with any other team? What are you doing away from home and any specific attributes for the CF? Long tall great header or a small quick striker? :)

I've tried 451 tactic and its defense is solid but I think IF(Wing) role is not a good choice for new patch. Maybe winger role can be better.

From what I can gather he used 442dm with Spurs and City. The others one are tests

I'm usually gone back to playing CIV V at this stage, but intrigued by these testing leagues.

The tactic screenshots etc are in Wills testing league, and the pts reflect a season using that league.

The 451 was from developed from a previous patch and oddly I did use a winger and IF combination, which I had great success with but haave not had much chance to revisit a lot of earlier tactics. The majority of team instructions I've used since the beta and originally was using 4231 wide and narrow tactics

I was not expecting a tactic patch and with Spurs and I think Man City (all 16.2) I used the 442DM tactic. I've just changed the striker roles in latter tactics.

Early days and not yet convinced that these testing leagues are an accurate reflection of a tactics ability, as there appears to be a lot of variable results, but will keep me away from CIV V game of the month for the time being.
 
Hi Knap, thanks for sharing your tactics. Getting very mixed results with the 4-5-1 using a mid-table team, haven't tried the 4-4-2 version yet. Which tactic would you rate as the better one, out of those two?
 
The 4-5-1 tactic it is by far the best 16.2 tactic i`ve tested, tomorrow i`ll post some screens. Insane results with Arsenal & Everton.

Currently trying the 4-5-1 with West Ham. Will let you know how it goes. Looks promising so far! Especially Payet seems to enjoy his free winger role.
