I've tried this tactic for my Man City team, great results... but the two central defender, worked better with "limited defender" duty (Mexes, Fazio), it could be because of the tipe of player they are... i'm just saying, it worked better for me... and wanted o say thank you very much for the tactic KOFLOK

things i have noticed with the latest patch (1.1.1 - whatever :p) that i'm still missing chances (defoe - mostely on the keeper, or on the woodwork and then out) that even my granny can finish ... and the opponent is scoring from the most unbelievable positions

Thanks for the input mate. Just what I was looking for. Still can't decide about whether playing man marking or zonal marking.

And yes. I dunno but it seems like AI have this 'unfair advantage' over us. But then again, it makes the game that much more interesting.

Cheers thanks for trying it out to man. Glad it works out well for ya.

By the way the ONLY difference between central defender and a limited defender - due to all the advanced settings I've done on each player - is their tackling is set on easy.

Might be interesting to see whether easy tackling is 'better' for the central defenders.

seems pretty good, have you tested with other clubs?
 
I haven't but a lot of users here has. And majority of them are not top teams.

That being said I think it still need more work :D
 
Just have promoted champion from italian C2 Series (fourth division), with Giulianova, media prediction 11th. Now in C1 Series I am 2nd in 11 games.
 
First version didn't work on my team. Gonna give your new version a try when it's ready to download. Btw, I deserve a candy.
 
After some tweaking, I have a problem defending my flank.
Opponents seem to breaking through there and cause a lot of problem

I tried to change zonal/man marking but it still doesn't really help much :'(
 
I'm waiting for this tactic :) I hope that this is really killer for fm 2011
