Usually don't post but feel like giving some feedback this time...
first of all Koflok, great work! like your tactic, and the idea behind it
I used it for my unfashionable Toronto Fc in the unfashionable MLS (btw a really unique and intriguing league with its rules, salary caps, trades, draft etc too bad Sigames tend to get careless with several details in this league) and manage to win an unexpected championship in the first season.
I put together an offensive minded, technically gifted squad (I have to recommend young ecuadorian AMC/ST Fidel Martinez, unattached, a perfect fit as a striker and a true gem in this year's game) but to my surprise it was a rock solid defence that really brought me succes, with Sablic also winning the defender of the year award.
I never really dominated, winning most games 1-0 or 2-1, and with a few 0-0 as well, never really created so many scoring chances, but never really went down against anyone, losing just 2 games in 35. I played attacking at home and standard away (counter YES in both), playmaker is RMC (Maresca, good fit), defensive line just 1 under normal, man mark no tight for both D/RL and DC, close down always on opponent's wingers or AMCs, and did pretty well. Very few goals allowed, mostly float crosses for the lone big striker (which still surprises me), but overall some very nice defence.
For my next season I'd like to see a more stylish and productive attacking football, with more possession and scoring chances, as I think I have the right players for that, especially at MLS level. Opposite foot/side wingers like Perovic, DeRosario, Arturo Alvarez and youngster Assulin, midfield playmaker Enzo Maresca, and afore-mentioned striker Martinez (who was indeed the league leader in scoring) just don't seem to thrive like they should, even if they have learned perfectly the tactic (as my match preparation screen tells me).
The deep attacking midfielder has been somewhat disapponting so far, failing to be a scoring threat or create chances for others. Hopefully I'll find a way to make him more effective, or maybe just find the right player! Martinez is a goal-machine up front, but he could use some help now and then...
I'm also thinking of getting the full backs in a more attacking role to add some width and give extra options on the flanks, though I wouldn't want to mess with my solid defence. We'll see...
To summarize, great tactic Koflok, keep up the good work!
PS tactic is the beta version, with some minor defensive tweaking
