Koflok, which of your players do you use to take the set pieces? You have them set up a certain way, so I presume a player in a particular position would have to take it?
I just noticed that on the corners I have the MCL & MCR mixed up. The MCR (adv. playmaker) should be marking small player and the MCL (DL playmaker) man marking. Thanks for the setting. Will definitely test it out and probably implement it on the next version. Cheers
My slowest player is around 14 pace/acceleration so i'll try with a high line for a bit. Btw I never used the aggressive tackling you've set. Don't your attacking players get alot of red cards if they have low tackling but go in hard? The new version have a better defense I think since we use high pressing and push up the d-line which limits opponent's play.
It somehow manage to increase our possession significantly.

Thanks for answering my question on the last page, your advice is greatly appreciated!

I haven't really seen the tactic just yet (Stupid copy still hasn't arrived). But IMO the most logical one would be Striker RWB Often, Through Balls Sometimes and Wingers other way around. But as I said, I haven't played yet.
hi its working well with my barrow team very poor budget and media prediction position is 17th only problem is players get tired very quikly wich reflects on some of my results as most of my first team can only play 2/3 games in a row and unfortunatly seems to have stopped working in the last few games
1. Push up d line. First notch of push up. If you got slower back, just pull it back a 2-3 notches
2. More clossing. Increase 4 notches of closing down for the back four. Do this manually (one by one in player instruction)
3. Play offside trap! I forgot to turn this on previously despite the high d-line
4. Full back Run From Deep to 'often'. This is not defend but help in build up plays.
5. Run From Deep, Run With Ball MCL = Rarely, Run From Deep, Run With Ball MCR = Sometimes.
6. No hold up ball for DMC. Yes for MCL.
7. Still confused as to winger settings.
RWB sometimes + through ball often OR
RWB Often + Through ball often OR
RWB sometimes + through ball sometimes
8. Same as striker
RWB Often + Through ball sometimes OR
RWB Often + through ball often OR
RWB sometimes + through ball sometimes
Hi Koflok, I am going to start arsenal tonight with your tactics, I am thinking place van persie as AMR, buying cavani in the front, and either gotze or neymar on the left, which one u suggest as i cant decide both are going to do well i think, and do u think need to reinforce midfield to the team, i may buy hamsik if i still have enough funds
I dont want to sound negative or bad, but if someone would create a tactic that would win every game by few goals margin, then the game would get boring quite fast. As in real life, in FM you are meant to lose sooner or later, even if it breaks your 50 games unbeaten run.
Great tactics man!
Hey Koflok, I really like your tactic, but you're definitely right there's something just not right defensively. I'm using Southend United in League 2 with your current beta build and I've been very successful offensively, but usually not good enough on the defensive end. I've noticed I struggle against fast attacking mids, so for this I set the line back quite a bit (my back 4 all have around 10-11 pace), that helps a bit but there's one glaring problem...
When defending in my final third and the opposing team is passing the ball around the outside of the box, I usually get scored on. There's too much space between the defenders and the opposing team it seems. There also seems to be a lot of "open spaces." How can I fix this? Could this be caused by zonal marking?
Thanks for all your responses Koflok
I'm really impressed with this tactic! I'm playing as Stockport County in the Blue Square Bet Premier I'm currently sitting top of the table after 29 games only loosing 3 in that time. My best result by far though came in the 3rd round of the F.A cup beating Liverpool 5-1, i was amazed possibly one of my best result ever on ant football manager game. Iv got Aston villa in the 4th round, I'll let you know how i get on.
Thanks for the great tactic anyway
