what does cuts inside mean? I think cuts inside means, to make crosses from the flanks...
then, what is the difference between cuts inside and moves into channels?
i think "moves into channels" will be more suitted to the inside forwards and cuts inside for wingers...

coz inside forward should be like messi... and he moves into channels.

so, what is the aim of using right footed at the left and the left footed at the right flank?
if he is going to cut inside, i think the right footed at the right for more suitable to make crosses?

What I am missing?

Quality tactic but a bit rubbish defensive wise as my West Ham team are conceding quite a lot of goals!

No cut inside doesn't cross from flanks. It's hug touchline. Like what Walcott usually does.

Cut inside when ON THE BALL is to start from wide and then moves into the box. They need inverted foot because well that's just how it works. It's hard to cut inside from right using right foot.

When off the ball, I've set the wingers to roam from position and in addition that the team plays narrow, automatically the winger who's not on the ball will move into channel and usually get scoring chances from through balls.

Messi IRL is now playing as a false 9 role - which I don't use in here. But true, he does moves into channel and goes deep to get the ball. His off the ball movement is similar to the wingers in my tactic, only the wingers is a bit on wider position.

Quality tactic but a bit rubbish defensive wise as my West Ham team are conceding quite a lot of goals!

Agreed.

Hi, i play with your tactic too.
It works fine, but i got some problems matchs when the rival team gets score before than me, i've never could get win some match like that, as much i have drawed but neve i've won.
What could i make for getting win those matchs?

I've been using your tactic for 2 seasons now with Anderlecht, I did the tweak for MCL, a deeper D-line (10) and changed the corner settings a bit (depending where my DCR is instructed to attack)

I won the league in the first season without any transfers since I didn't have the budget, got knocked out of the Europa League in the first knockout phase which was a bit surprising but I achieved what the board wanted, I also won the Belgian cup and the Supercup, all in all a very good first season.

In the second season I made a few transfers, mostly Brazilians, I was handed a very tough Champions League group with Inter, Benfica and Shalke04. Playing Inter away on the first game and won 0-2 (or 2-0 how you want it), eventually I went on to qualify in first place for the knockout stages, the first one against Malaga was won 7-4 on aggregate, played Chelsea in the quarter final and lost 1-4 on aggregate, 0-2 at home to start with was just not going to cut, we did play good football on Stamford Bridge and I was very happy, as was my board :)
I did play most of the games with players that were already at Anderlecht from the beginning of the game and the overall age was only 20 in the 2nd season, great Champions league campaign I must say!

My MCL (Biglia) is an absolute beast, he doesn't score that much but every season till now he had around or over 25 assists on his own, great stuff :)

Starting XI for most of my games 3rd season (still 7 original Anderlecht players):
GK: Mejia
DL: Safari
DCL: Mazuch
DCR: Juhasz
DR: Odoi
DMC: Adriano
MCL: Biglia
MCR: Reynaldo
AML: Suarez
AMR: Zezinho
ST: Sala

Looking forward to another successful season, hopefully :)

I did what I found a few pages back I believe, just setting run from deep to mixed/sometimes, I don't know if that did the trick but other then that I haven't changed any of the individual instructions. I did train him to try killer balls often and to dictate tempo.

Oh yeah that tweak I forgot about that. :D

Yeah any midfielder will be killer with those two PPMs.

Nice

These r my results for season 14/15. Got some new players with Ajax but not alot, better keeper, leftfullback, Kara on DMC and a regen winger (player like sulejmani) and Sanogo in SC position for half season (sigthorsson on others). Kinda good results, won the CL the year before this one using the goals galore. (Remember Ajax should be 1 every season with the players they have in FM2012)

New season seems to go little bit worse. After bout 13 matches im 2nd behind PSV ( They just drawn 2 and lost 1)

ps. Just seems hard to get any better than this cus u simply cant compete with the top (chelsea for example) got about 40m/year salary. And transfer funds from 0-10m each season, the only chance i have is raising youngsters :)

First season with millwall on vacation from year 15/16:

2nd place. (With far from best team)

I can help u with anything if u need my help testing or so :) Can add a league to my game to put it on vacation with any tac and serve u the screenies :P Just PM me if u need any help testing or just more info about the tactic.

Gee thanks Vigotje for the review. Can't say much if you're in 2nd position because PSV is on fire. Hopefully as the season goes on it gets better. On your screenie you got some good 3-0, 4-0 wins though as expected. So that's good I suppose.

And about the go on holiday thing, you don't have to. You can just play with your current game that you're actually playing.
Going on holiday, while can be useful, might not be as accurate and effective as actually doing the game since you don't know what's happening during the matches. But again, thanks for the offer.

And for the ones who's asking

The next update,
GOALS GALORE 2012 v3, is to be released
by tomorrow or the day after.
So watch this space.
It's been on beta way too long :P

hi koflok , i'm sam in si forum .....
can u advice me how to improve the defense ???
in 5 match i concede 4 goal although win , the closest match i win 4-3 :(.
thanks mate .

Pitch

Hi. this might be a stupid question but where do i adjust the pitch size? I will try your tactic now n let u know

You can adjust the pitch size at the start of the season, a message will come up asking u about the size.

Seems to me that the size DOES matter alot this year. Had "standard size" on my screenies some posts above here, put MAX now and i just won 10-0 and 0-4 altho i have to say my striker is way above my league atm ;)

ps. won my league by about 15 points at the end ;) PSV winning streak was over and i ran over 'm.
ps2. Got promotion with millwall in my first season (prediction 6th, im somewere 15/16 so teams r different ;) )

edit3:
On a home game against Feyenoord i noticed some things:
If they are defending near the box its often just the wingers trying to reach the striker but like 75% of the balls bounce of defenders -> Corners
My left CM is really only distributing to Eriksen my right CM, altho my left CM has like 19 passing n **** so i could give him a little bit more freedom then i guess ;-)

Btw, I'm in the 3rd season now, had a not so good start but the team is picking it up again, had some new players that maybe disturbed the morale or whatever.
My champions league group consists of AC Milan, Real Madrid and Fenerbahce, 1 game left (against Fenerbahce at home, MUST win) and currently in 3rd place, this tactic seems to be immense playing away from home, I drew 2-2 against Real Madrid away, but they only equalized in extra time, 4 minutes extra and they scored somewhere around 94:40 or something, really sad! Otherwise I would have topped the group, but there's still hope for that 2nd spot, need Real to win from Milan and we're through :) (if we win of course)

Yea, been noticing vs Real Madrid the tac does quite well. Having hard time vs Chelsea (played both couple of times). 0-7 is brilliant tho with Anderlecht :P

"Q: I got no inside forwards at all. Can I use Downing (left footed) as AML and Walcott (right footed) as AMR?
A: No you cannot do that. The tactic would probably not work. Using two natural winger destroys the tactic mechanism and you won't probably get much chance.

A:You got to at least have an inside forward, and the other winger may not be opposite footed as long as he is on the striker's favourite side (as explained above)"

First of all great job with the formation.Secondly, the particular example you mention with Downing and Walcott i think you can use them.Walcott's natural position in the game is striker and not winger. So can't we use Downing as a left winger with support duty and Walcott as a right inside forward.I am talking not only about those two but in general too or you think it won't have good results.
