Koflok's Goals Galore 2012

i registered in this forum just to say that tis tactic is awesome!!
started as swindon in league 2 got promotion every season,but lately 2nd season in the prem seems like
im having so called 2nd season syndrome..
can u share wat did u do after the 1st season here?
because i dont want to change to others tactic..
sorry for bad english..
 
don't usually post on the forums but just gotta say that this tactic is superb - by far the best out there - albeit i've used it for only 75% of a season, However so far by playing with Bilbao (and buying next to noone) I'm sitting in 3rd about 9 points behind Real (they've drawn 0 and only lost 1 - against me), and one point behind Barca. I'm in the Spanish Cup final and also into the 2nd knockout stage of the UEFA cup.

One question is I bought some full back from OM who possesses the long throw, is it worth using this? If so, is there any specific instructions I should make?

Llorente is scoring for fun; however not too many goals from the wings (Iker Munain and Sussietta) - think my second top goalscorer is the right centre back.

Anyways, much appreciate the tactic...simply stunning! Just preying now that some decent young players come through the Bilbao academy as there is hardly anyone decent kicking about (who I don't already have) who is Basque!
 
Best tactic in-Game , Perfect .

Just gotta say , The inside forwards are the MAIN players in your tactic , Always put strikers who can play as wing because of the high finishing and composure .

i have downloaded the base tactic from the front page and have tested it for a while now and it has proved better than all the competition. below are the average stats for the tests, you will see that your tactic has been strong throughout. well done!

Im currently testing against the Vodu tactic, only 1 game in but yours is already in the lead.

not sure how the pasted tables will look but couldn't be bothered typing it all out ...

edit: should have said that the top number is the number of CCC, the bottom one is the nmber of Half Chances.

The patch was just released! How is anyone supposed to know? There are no changes to the ME though so it should work.

Woah thanks for the testing on that. I'm glad to see I got overall high CCCs

I don't do anything after the 1st season.
Generally it goes as well as the first one.

Depending on the situation, I think against smaller teams they will play even more defensively.
So you might want to even go overload or slow down the tempo so that your team takes more time in building up the attacks.

Your winger can be a scoring threat as long as they have good finishing and off the ball stats. They actually serve as second strikers in this tactic.

As for the long throw you can try it out yourself, just put long throw on the throw in box.
I personally never use long throw but it looks like it has been pretty dangerous lately.

Actually, upon further investigation, apparently there are slight changes to the ME :)

*sigh* just when I thought I can done with this tactic and develop my 3-6-1 formation.
It's has been left there over a week now. *FFFFUUUUUUU* :P
 
Not sure if this helps you in any way but here are the changes from PaulC:

The changes were so minor I didn't bother with a change-list to be honest.

Main ones you may or may not notice:

- Toned down corner delivery
- Harder to get header on target under pressure
- Better AI attacking corner set-up
- Tweaked AI use of touchline instruction
- Fixed a bug relating related to positioning of full backs in defensive third
- Fixed defensive line pushing up on goal kick leaving team vulnerable to header back over their heads for forward to run onto

Seems like not much of a diferent there.
Good to see that the corner goals are toned down. I'm kinda bored seeing how lots tactic got majority of their goals from corners instead of striker. Although yes mine scores from header as well :P

- Better AI attacking corner set-up : Are you kidding me?

- Fixed a bug relating related to positioning of full backs in defensive third : Finally! My main issue is solved by the ME itself.

Please can u give me an idiots guide as to how to download this tactic and how to put it in the game gonna b Liverpool any reccomendations?

tactic will be downloaded into your computers default download folder.

Simply cut and paste the tactic into "C:\Users\??????\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\tactics" and then you can access it in game by selecting the "archived tactic" option.

Thinking about using this tactic the main issue for me is my main striker is lukaku and gotze.can theese players fit into this formation,as a advanced forward and inside forward,respectively.
 
Well Gotze can certainly play in the AML position.
Lukaku while not exactly the player I would like to have as striker but it may work somehow. He got good finishing.
