Largest Village to Richest Club- Wroughton Rise to Power

Wroughton is a large village in Wiltshire in the South West England region of the UK. It is part of the Borough of Swindon and is 4 miles (6 km) southeast of Swindon. With a population of 7,047 in 2001, it is one of England's largest villages.

Despite their success of winning the English 11th tier for the only time in 2008 they though it was in the best interest of the team that the club needed a new team. The team has went out to sign an unknown coach to surprise everyone. Especially when it was an American. He is the older brother of Adam Ryan who is getting his start over in the Bulgarian League with top dog CSKA (Sofia).

We shook hands and here we are. Although I think maybe I should of spend a little time cause we didn't say how much so as far as I know I might take this team to the ELP and then be making 20 dollars." said the new coach in Michael Gary. He got a couple of laughs from a couple of the players. The coach said a couple of other things, but we couldn't make it out since other players were talking about losing their jobs. Yes no news paper outlets showed up for the conference so the assistant coach Steven Broadbent had it recorded it and then sent it into the newspaper.

Coach Gary didn't waste anytime as he already kept the captain and co-captain from last year. He also said that all players will be kept on the team for the first year, but if teams want them he isn't against selling them off. Also with the 0 transfer fee's and being an amateur club he can't bring anyone in either.

Not using Genie Scout. Never have, but I did download it. I loaded it up and had no idea what to do so I assume I will not be using it. However I would like to see what my prestige is for my team and whatnot so I might use it for that if I can figure out what the heck I am doing. I don't think I am missing anything, but if you want to know something just ask and I will post it.

Undefeated month to start out the year with a 1-2-0 record. New coach isn't that bad for a team that is predicted to finished last. Still in eight place and with at least one win its looking good for the new coach. Without able to bring in anyone (coaches for players) for coach Gary he is not worried that his team is averaging a goal given up a game.

In the positives for the first month! Not bad at all. I don't care if it is eight dollars. Maybe the team could of paid me a dollar a week to coach this team and we still would of made money. Oh well the rise to one of the richest clubs have to start some where. With that money does come from tickets.

In the first two games the "youngest goal scorer" record was broken. It looks as if Taylor will hold this record for a long time unless they find a fantastic 15 year old who can play in front of him. Either way coach Ryan is not just proud of these records, but how is team his playing.

Great start mate, level 10 is really hard for the fact that at any time your players can just up and leave to another club due to free transfers.

I got a striker in and he scored 27 goals in 18 games, but the next week another club just up and signed him. Im currently in level 10 and im failing badly but not gicing up lol..

Well I know cause of the ameteur status they can do that, but I am glad that I have that too look forward too. Like you I won't be giving up, so at least the challenge just got harder.

Wroughton is rising in the standings. That was only true because of the scoring outbreak (7 goals) in just the four league games. It was all Bean’s scoring mostly has he would have four of those goals. It was a heartbreak for the team to lose the lead and the game especially on a PK kick. Still it’s all gravy for the team as they are fighting for promotion.

A horrid 1-3-1 month. Easily could have been 3-1-0, but late goals has sealed their fate. Most fans are wondering if the new coach magic has run off since they are now fully into the season. At the end of the month the coach decided it was time to bring in some new faces to bring stability and leadership to this team. Plus better player who can keep their composure a the end of the games.

The only good thing about this month. Making money from this game, and playing the first place team in the opening round of the cup. It was their time to comeback to tie the game. They would keep their composure and heads throughout extra time and then the shootout.

Coach Gary did find some players from teams who wanted to let people go on a free transfer. He decided to scoop them up even if they were old. “Anyone is better right now than most our young players. Still this is just for us to compete. Not to win the league, but to compete and able to get promoted. Everyone has predicted us to finish last so basically these players can’t do us much harm as a team.”

If you are referring to me stopping the CSKA story, no I am not. its just that I wanted another challenge. Already have took leeds for over 10 years to make them the best team in the game and top 3 richest club in the world. Took Newport Country (from normal setup) and took them up to the EPL and made them into the best team in the world and top 10 richest club. CSKA is only 5 years in and still playing (posting will come either tonight or tomorrow morning). I am a very patient person and I still with something. Basically I won't quit until the team is either best team in the world or one of the top 10 richest clubs.

Astonmateu and I were talking about what challenge would be good. He said either his one he started, at the time the file wasn't approved so I couldn't download it, or start one in the lowest tier 11 in England. While I won't go up as fast as he did, once I get to the EPL it will basically be over since usually within five years in the EPL its too easy, or at least for how I wheel and deal, to get the best team. So yes maybe when I get to the EPL it won't last but I will be one of the richest clubs or at least the best team. Doubt I will start one all the way back over in tier 11 like Astonmateu but we shall see. This isn't a shot at you just saying that I do have a good track record even if I haven't posted stories on here. I do hope you follow and if one thing I hope at the end of it you can restate you statement and tell me good job for sticking through it.

They have turned from the worst team to the best team halfway through the season. With mostly the new people in for free transfers or with a zero transfer fee has improved this team immensely. They had a very hot month in scoring (19) goals and only gave up a goal in a 5-0-1 record this month. Sadly the game they loss was a shutout that did break the six game streak of not giving up a goal. As long as the scoring continues they look to have sealed up first place. Problem is so far one month they are up the next they are down. Hopefully next month won’t be a bad month.

Two guys have been complaining about playing time. The coach said he didn't want to hear it and hasn't been showing them the time or day in the lineup or as a sub. They decided to go to the public and the votes are in. Apparently the 87 fans of the club think that they should shut up and keep working hard in training if they want to see the pitch.

Good luck, first time I have noticed this, I will check back now and again. Don't forget to try and set up a parent club, will be very useful being so low down the leagues for loan signings, and also money aswell if you play an annual friendly.

Coasting! Ha, that's a good one. I am not Astonmateu. I might coast the first couple of levels up once I get to coco-cola its going to be very hard. So reason I can't get thought that league, but once to EPL will be fine.

Thanks Stu. I think I am the only person who never sets up a parent club. I always love to, and the only way I have one is if the team offers me to be their feeder. I can never get people to loan to my team. Apparently I do something wrong cause I can always get the transfer to go through but EVERYONE always declines coming to my team so I just pick up players or buy people. Never loan them from a parent club so you won't see any of that in this story. Unless someone tells me how it works.

I agree with you the EPL is too easy, which means this season will be once I get up there. Problem is how long is it going to take me to get up there. Again going to take me longer than most people due to lack of parent club and I have the worst luck loaning people.

Sorry I forgot to post that. Its a large database with all players from ENGLAND and NORTH AMERICA (like to see the real US national team). And yes the speed is still pretty good. I have a great computer so actually my performance is still a 4 STAR. Wilco is 34 so I will keep him probably until he retires.

With coach Gary living on the training grounds. Yes its true. He is overseas, knows no one, and isn't getting paid. Well rumor is that someone will be getting paid. Right now its not the coach, but Chairman Tom Hall seeing that the club is making money is getting some interest. Now he is looking to cash out to make money from this club. While its rumors right now people only wonder if its true if the coach will make some money.

"I'm not too worried about that right now. Most people though I would be canned within my first year, or we would be in last place. Right now just worried about getting promoted. In the end the contract will work out on its on." said coach Gary about the possibility of a new chairmen and a new contract.

"I personally don't want him to see him get a contract. Well if it is I hope its not enough to where he has to move out. He has brought fame to this club. Well not world class fame, but local fame. With that and the locals knowing coach lives here a couple of girls have been coming to see him. I like to tell them I am one of the board members and instead of them more worried about the coach they find comfort in me. Good thing they don't know I am just the groundskeeper. If that ever got out no one would come back. At least coach Gary is doing it part on and off the pitch for everyone in this organization. Wait, you are not going to print that last part are you?" said the only unnamed grounds keeper.

Started the month off with a heartbreaking loss. It looked as if things would start to fall apart, but that would be the only hurdle for this month. After that they cruised as they finished off league play with a 3-0-1 record. The biggest win would be against New College, who was 6 points behind Wroughton and with 2 less games, as Wroughton would come through with a 3-1 comeback win.

In the only game of the month all they needed to do was win to keep at least a three point lead in the division. Apparently it was too hard for them as they would fall in this game. Still in first, but only by goal differential. They need to play sharper, but now rumors are flying cause of the board takeover and that some players are going to be pluck to other teams.

It would finally take place. The new chairmen is Fred Harper has already stated that he will not be paying the coach a salary "as of yet." Most people think that Harper has taken over as he see's the new coach with promotion can maybe sell the club and make a huge profit. The new chairmen also said he will not be investing any money in the club which makes this rumor of making a profit make more sense.
