At least it wasn't in the FA Cup that took two legs to advance. Its going to be a long season if we have to keep playing two games in the tournament to advance.

Made it to the first round of the tournament, but with some fitness problems we couldn't finish strong so it was an early exit for us.

Four games this month a perfect 6-0-0 record. With that even though its still super early in the season (going into fourth month) it looks as if promotion is already a given for Wroughton as they have a eight point lead over second place and with three less games played. Scoring was in bunches again this month as they scored 13 goals while only giving up an amazing 1 goal. With some new signings it looks as if this team is going to be very hard to beat.

With one of their best defenders out for another month they decided to go out and pick up two expensive wage players to seal up the back line. Maybe they don’t need them since they are cruising in first, but coach Gary said its to build for the future. Even with the high wages they got both players for 0 dollar transfer fee.

True to form like all season another tournament game for the round took two games to decided the winner. Again it would be Wroughton who looks like a magical run is in the works if they can keep this streak up. Although some people are worried that the league will suffer since they have to rest a couple more starters each round. As of yet the team it hasn’t effected this game.

Again another month without a loss for Wroughton and this is very impressive for them as they are in the Hellenic League Premier Division. They did have one tie this month (2nd all year) to end the month in the league with a 3-1-0 record. Another great month for scoring (12 goals) while only giving up 2 goals in the four games. Again the injury bug struck and while one guy is out for more than a month, there was some minor injuries as well. Most are back healthy and even some players who were injured last month are getting back to match fitness.

Another strong showing this month with a 4-1-1 record. Yes that one loss would be the first loss all year. Although the tie looked as if it could and should have been the second loss for this team. Other than that all the wins were blowouts and despite that loss they are still pulling away from the league which now stands at seventeen point lead with still two less games played on second place. They scored 16 goals this week while only conceding 6 (3 in the final game of the month).

In what looked like an easy win, especially taken a quick 1-0 lead turned into a disappointing loss. Sure coach Gary gave a rest to a couple of starters (2 strikers) but still should have been an easy win. Seddon had his worst game for the club at goalie in this game. The two time defending champions couldn’t even make it to the final which will be a big disappointment for the fans.

Five games this month, and yet again another loss and a tie in the column for Wroughton. Still despite going 3-1-1 they gained another point over second place to now lead by nineteen points. Goal differential was the smallest all year (+2) as they scored 11 goals and gave up 9 (the most in a month all year). Still with their best striker needing a rest, and getting it, and with games coming left and right coach Gary had to change lineups every game. The most goals in a game allowed so far under coach Gary as been five and that has happened this month. Luckily it was in the league and not cup game.

Another five game month for the conference in which they went 4-1-0 and did so without their top two strikers for the majority of the month. After the first game of the month the team would learn it won at least a playoff berth. The last game of the month they found out that they sealed first place and have won promotion. “You will see the reserves getting more playing time since the league games are meaningless now and we still are in a couple of cup games so hopefully we can rest some starters and keep them healthy for the games.” said the coach after hearing about the promotion. With those five games they scored only 8 goals this month while giving up 3 goals. While they did have only eight goals this month most of their starters were resting a couple of games for the cup games being played.

They finished 4th in English Isthmian League Division. I don't know much about that team and if Bobby Traynor is on the team, but if he is he was sold or bought by Slough. Here are some pics for you.

With the league already won coach Gary would be true to his word as in the five league games this month the starters only played in one of the five as the team would still keep winning no matter who was in. They went 3-1-1 in the month and made it also to the finals for the FA Vase. While the bench didn’t score a lot of goals, 5 goals for and 4 goals against, they still had a positive month and are glad their work in training is finally showing on the pitch. Still the four goals against did come in one game, the loss, but other than that looked very good.

The bench players would get it done in the final month as they went a perfect 4-0-0 and scored 7 goals and only allowed 2. The defense would show up for the whole month, and when it came down to the final two games as cup games the starters came in with a month long break and still did what was needed for the wins. They cruised through promotion, even if it was almost two months ago, with 29 point lead, and only ended up the year with three losses. With two coming from when the bench players were playing.

Coach Gary went with his bench only in pre-season games. Six pre-season games were schedule with Swindon S being the seventh, but only game that had to be a friendly since the clubs are link. Other than Swindon though all the games brought in at least $20,000 a game. Again it helps out for the finances for the club, but still after three years the team hasn’t done anything to training or to the youth systems although the coach has been talking about it since day one as coach. With the bench playing though all the games they managed to only score 5 goals in the seven games. It wouldn’t be pretty defensively for the team since they allowed 20 goals. Still while allowing that much they did manage to win two of the seven games and it was against two of the stronger teams in pre-season.

Again another year and a steady increase of money. Still coach Gary really hasn't signed a guy worth a lot of money in transfers, and the first time is starting this year. Still no plans to build anything for this club if it is stadium to any training grounds.

Another promotion and another contract extension for coach Gary as he is getting closer to Blue South league. He is eying that cause once he gets there he knows he is getting close to having a squad that is professional and then he knows things will really take off.

Yeah I would, but I am like $6,000 over my limit for wages in the new year. You will see when I post, but I just got home and I am tired so I will do it in the morning. Yeah there is a lot of players I don't like on my team, but have to keep cause my players always get injured and with games coming left and right I need like 3 squads on my team. I just didn't want to pay (he wanted 80 dollars a week, but not worth it to play like 10 games a year) and didn't feel like letting other people go on my team who have played more games. Plus when I get to the Blue South most of these guys won't even be on my roster.

Fans are very angry and this time it is raining down on the coach. Coach Gary went, and gave all the starters a rest except for their goalie in this game. The reserves would look like pre-season and would get dominated in this game as they would be out shot 14-4 as they would lose the fist qualifying round in the FA Cup. Fans wanted the starters to play, even though they are tired, only cause they locks as one of the top teams to make the playoffs this year in league.

Wroughton has been very disappointing this month. With the loss in the FA Cup they also haven’t had the best opening months in the league as they were just 3-3-1. While they did score the most goals by any team (15) they also game up 8 goals which is a lot considering the last couple of years.

Another tournament they are bounced out in the first game. This time half of the starters did play, but it was more of a crushing loss. Fans are wondering what is going on, but coach Gary told reporters after the game, “Listen we still have some injuries to two of our best guys. Plus with the season last year we played we played a ton of games and well they look a little tired out. Winning the league and two tournaments last year was great. This year we are more worried about promotion than tournaments.”

With not a good month and a half prior to this month it looked as if Wroughton would have some troubles. Especially when their two best players were going to miss this whole month. Again coach Gary would sacrifice one tournament, and squeaked through another one in overtime. When it came to the league he would make the right changes to the lineup and perfect subbing as his team would be a perfect 5-0-0 to climb atop the charts to first place. 12 goals to only 4 given up this month would be the highlight as it seemed everyone started to get a feel for each style to give them a nice five point cushion in the league.

Another quick exit which is starting to stir up the fans as the coach again brushes the loss off his shoulders like its no big deal. Still the being in first place in the league has help soften the blow a bit.

While they are now tied for first in points, they went from being the team who played the most games to one of the teams with the fewest league games played.

With a crazy eight games this month for Wroughton they would surprising do well with a 4-3-1 record. While that is not usually up to standards for this team or coach for a month, but with a bunch of injuries, and shuffling up the lineup for a game every three days it seemed would be very good for this team. Especially when in six of the games they gave up the first goal. While they did concede 9 goals (around 1 goal a game) they did score a blistering 17 goals (although 7 did come in one game)
