Transfers Out:
For these amount of signings it is obvious that some players had to leave the club, all be it the fringe players, these are as follows in order of price:

A.Bacinovic - Anzhi - 8M Euros
N.Bertolo - Torino - 3.7M Euros
E.Barreto - Deportivo - 3.4M Euros
J.Pedro - Braga - 2.5M Euros
F.Vazquez - Cesena - 1.5M Euros
E.Viviano - Inter Milan - 1.4M Euros
M.Donati - Atalanta - 1M Euros
F.Della Rocca - Bologna - 975k
A.Acquah - Cagliari - 500k
Rubinho - Atalanta - 500k
G.Cristofari - Bari - 500k
M.Milanovic - Verona - 140k (Co-Own)
A.Adamo - Padova - 130k (Co-Own)
G.Brichetto - Verona - 100k

G.Prestia - Leece - (Loan)

A running total of in and around 24.5M Euros!

The majority of those players never played a game for me so it was money well earned and it got us a fair few players to join our club by freeing up wages and transfer money!

Fairly happy with our dealings in the transfer market for the start of the season, and i think that will be me finished for the season as far as buying going unless anything goes majorly wrong with injuries (fingers crossed). Especially happy with the signings of Jovetic and Douglas Costa.

Group Stage Draw

Group D

Chelsea
CSKA Moscow
PSG
Palermo

Not an easy group in the slightest, but going into the group stage as 4th seeds was never going to hand us an easy group. Hopefully we can qualify from this, if not, let's hope we finish third and go into the Europa League!

Great moves in the Transfer Market pal, I expect to see you right up there challenging Juve this season :p

Tough Champions League group :/ PSG and Chelsea will be tough and a Russian team always throws a spanner into the plans as theyre so unpredictable. KIU pal

September

The opening month of the season, always an exciting time to see how your team perform, and my team? Well, let's just say it went well.

Serie A
Sampdoria vs Palermo
2-2
J.Ilicic, A.Hernandez

Champions League Group D
Palermo vs CSKA Moscow
2-0
I.Semenov (O.G), A.Hernandez

Serie A
Palermo vs AS Roma
3-2
F.Balzaretti (O.G), A.Hernandez x2

Serie A
Lazio vs Palermo
0-2
A.Hernandez x2

Serie A
Palermo vs AC Milan
3-0
S.Jovetic x2, A.Hernandez

Couldn't be happier with the month, well i could, but that would be hoping for a lot. However, we went a full month unbeaten in all competitions, and playing in the Champions League adds to the amount of games we have to play in a season so we did very well considering especially against the likes of Roma and AC Milan.

October

This was quite possibly one of the hardest months i have ever previewed in any of my saves before playing it. Have a look at the fixtures!

Champions League Group D
PSG vs Palermo
0-1
A.Mantovani

Serie A
Inter Milan vs Palermo
1-3
F.Miccoli x3

Serie A
Palermo vs Torino
3-0
A.Ignjovski, P.Caceres (O.G), A.Hernandez

Champions League Group D
Chelsea vs Palermo
2-1
S.Jovetic

Serie A
(C)Juventus vs Palermo
1-2
Douglas Costa, M.Silvestre

Serie A
Palermo vs Chievo
2-0
S.Jovetic, A.Mehmeti

(C) = Defending Champions

As i say, it was one of the toughest months I have ever experienced on FM and i have been playing a long time, but we prevailed winning all our games in the league and only losing out to Chelsea in the dying minutes of our Champions League encounter.

The first two games, we generally didn't deserve to win any of them, but we plugged away, our left back getting the goal in the PSG match and Miccoli coming off the bench to score a hat-rick in the game at Inter Milan!

The Juve game seen Douglas Costa make his debut for us as he was out for several months due to a torn hamstring, but he came back and we through him in at the deep end, and he rewarded our confidence by scoring a chipped shot on the edge of the box.

Yeh, still unbeaten in the league so thats a bonus, but Napoli are doing well, they still have Hamsik and Cavani, and i can never rule out Juve after last season!

Good month, you're doing great! You've made good signings and Hernandez is a tank, and it's a interesting story keep up the updates coming mate :)
