Last Striker Standing 2016

Looking good so far for Pedersen, really happy with how the move to Tottenham turned out! :)

This should be the last season for Burmeister. Shocking technical stats, and not much improvement mentally either :(

Wells is barely clinging on after such a good start!! Darn you Juventus

Well... What can I say!! What an absolute stormer I had there! I have just found a new love for Leverkusen!

SEASON 6 UPDATE
1. James Scott: 49 Games 37 Goals 2 Assists 7 International Goals = 178 Points
Another record breaking season from James. Once again named the German Player of the year along with his nomination into the team of the year. Also continues his dominating form for Portugal and looks on pace to break Cristiano Ronaldo's international goals record.

2. Oluwatosin Oyedemi: 43 Games 23 Goals 7 Assists 18 International Goals = 171 Points
Oyedemi had a true breakout season for Real Madrid and he his now known as their key player. Won the champions league with Real Madrid, and was runner-up for the UEFA Golden Ball along with his mention in the UEFA Team of the Year. Also named the African footballer of the year.

3. Dustin Wells: 54 Games 28 Goals 2 Assists 11 International Goals = 158 Points
An amazing turnaround for the United States international, was not expected to feature much for Juventus after returning from a loan spell but he ended up in 54 games, 40 of which he started. 28 Goals was more than enough for Juventus to secure his signature for the future.

4. Will Score: 37 Games 27 Goals 4 Assists 8 international Goals = 144 Points
Will Score finally got his chance in the first eleven for Lyon and boy did it pay off. 27 Goals is the most the Lyon fans have enjoyed from a single player in quite some time.
View attachment 204209

5. Hans Pedersen: 49 Games 24 Goals 2 Assists 10 International Goals = 138 Points
Hans is well on pace to become the greatest Tottenham player of all time, finished as the second top score in the league and will look to continue his form into the World Cup next year.

6. Boba Fett: 35 Games 18 Goals 5 Assists 14 International Goals = 133 Points
The forgotten about competitor in Germany is no longer in the shadows after his 92 million move to Arsenal during the season! Also looks on pace to lead Canada to their first World Cup in 36 years.
View attachment 204207

7. Tom Drake: 24 Games 9 Goals 1 Assist 6 International Goals: 61 Points
Actually played fairly well for Manchester City in the 24 Games he featured in. Will need to do more if Hungary are to qualify for the World Cup in a group that features both Portugal and Austria.
View attachment 204206

8. James Bardy: 41 Games 10 Goals 4 Assists 2 International Goals: 52 Points
Not a good goal scoring season for QPR but somehow continues to feature for the English National team ahead of next summer's World Cup.
View attachment 204205

9. Flash Gordon: 35 Games 9 Goals 2 International Goals = 44 Points
26 of his 35 games came off the bench after he lost his starting spot due to a change in formation to a 4-2-3-1 by United. However with the sale of Lukaku for 88 million to Chelsea, Flash will look to feature in more games and regain his usually outstanding form on route to what could be a crucial World Campaign for Portugal.
View attachment 204204

10. Arnold Burmeister: 31 Games 13 Goals 1 Assist 2 International Goals: 35 Points
Arnold finally got a chance at Southampton after they suffered relegation the season before, subsequently led them back to the premiere league however and continues to be a crucial player for Norway.
View attachment 204203

11. Jean-Pierre Essomba: 7 Games 1 Goal: 4 Points
Truly awful season for Real Madrid after he decided not to go on loan. However he did manage to score a crucial goal during the season.
View attachment 204202

12. John Cena: 4 Games 1 Assist: 1 Point
His loan assist in the Premiere League saves him.
View attachment 204201

13. Karl Marx: 1 Game: 0 Points
Karl featured in just one game for Atletico Madrid despite staying injury free the entire season. Looks a shadow of the player that was the second top scorer in La Liga that was named in the La Liga Team of the season just two years ago.
View attachment 204200

14. Shane Tracz: 0 Points
Did not play a single game for Manchester City. Featured in two games off the bench for Poland. Sad he couldn't get a loan move away from the Etihad.

92 Million!!!!! Really! Boba Fett is the greatest Canadian player ever

The 1 Assist dream :D

Hopefully Aston Villa will actually play Cena more and actually train my finishing. It's so stupid that he has 8 finishing as a striker :(

Whaaaat? I survived!!!! It's a miracle! Southampton finally gave the Norwegian giant a chance. Time to take on the BPL!

Pedersen doing great so far! Hopefully I can climb the ranks soon :)

About time that Juve finally gave Dustin a chance. I hope it continues next season!!

2 Cracking season on the belt I have had! Hopefully a 3rd en route and a Ballon D'or!

SEASON 7 UPDATE
1. James Scott: 50 Games 35 Goals 11 Assists 3 International Goals 7 WC Group Stage Goals 4 WC Knockout Goals = 259 Points

The single greatest season in LSS History. Led Leverkusen to their first Bundesliga Trophy in their 118 years. Also led the club to the Champions League Semifinals. Broke the Champions League Record for most man of the match performance on route to finishing second in the voting for best player in Europe. Then continued his form into the World Cup and received the golden ball with his 11 goals, second place only had 8 goals. Unfortunately, Portugal went down in the Semi Finals but still managed to finish in 3rd place after defeating Brazil. Also named in the WC best 11.

2. Oluwatosin Oyedemi: 56 Games 35 Goals 11 Assists 12 International Goals = 199 Points
Another outstanding season for Oyedemi as he led Real Madrid to another Champions League Final but unfortunately couldn't lead Nigeria to the World Cup. Also now the Nigeria captain and wins his second straight African Footballer of the Year.
View attachment 201648

3. Boba Fett: 48 Games 30 Goals 3 Assists 10 International Goals 1 WC Group Stage Goal = 171 Points
Boba more than proved he was worth the hefty price Arsenal payed for him. Finished as the top scorer in the Premiere League, Arsenal's first in 10 years since Van Persie in 2012. Beat out fellow competitors in Will Score and Hans Pedersen to finish first. Also named in the premiere league team of the year and led Canada to their first World Cup in 36 years although they failed to gain a point.
View attachment 201649

4. Hans Pedersen: 52 Games 30 Goals 11 Assists 5 International Goals 1 WC Group Stage Goal 1 WC Knockout Goal = 169 Points
Led Tottenham to a Champions League Trophy! Also finished as the second top scorer in the Premiere League. Shortlisted for the Ballon d'Or. Denmark did not do too well at the World Cup however and lost in the Round of 16.
View attachment 201650

5. Dustin Wells: 39 Games 17 Goals 4 Assists 5 International Goals 2 WC Group Stage Goals = 108 Points
Dustin did very well for club and country. First with Juventus, scored 13 goals in the league and then at the World Cup, led United States out of the group stages until they unfortunately lost on penalties to the eventual World Cup champions.
View attachment 201651

6. Will Score: 39 Games 22 Goals 5 International Goals: 108 Points

Did very well for Manchester United in his first season for the club, finishing as the third top scorer in the league after losing out to Hans Pedersen and Boba Fett. Led Manchester to the Premiere League and Europa League Trophies and was named the Asian player of the year.
View attachment 201652

7. James Bardy: 49 Games 17 Goals 3 Assists 1 International Goal 1 WC Group Stage Goal = 83 Points
Bardy with a decent season and even managed to score a goal in the first World Cup game for England. Won the Serie A and was named in the England National Team of the Season.
View attachment 201653

8. Arnold Burmeister: 43 Games 13 Goals 3 International Goals = 64 Points
Arnold did enough to survive for another season but will have been disappointed in Norway's failure to qualify for the World Cup.
View attachment 201654

9. Flash Gordon: 33 Games 9 Goals 1 Assist 1 International Goal 1 WC Group Stage Goal = 49 Points
Many Portuguese fans around the world argue that Portugal would have won the World Cup if Flash Gordon had been able to provide more help for James Scott. Those statements are unfair, Flash did not do too bad for the amount of playing time he got. Looks to have settled into a permanent role as a second fiddle striker for club and country.
View attachment 201655

10. Tom Drake
: 16 Games 7 Goals 1 Assist 2 International Goals = 37 Points

Did just enough to survive. Will surely look for a move away from Manchester City if he wants to continue in the competition. Hungary however did not play in the World Cup.
View attachment 201656

11. John Cena: 38 Games 8 Goals 3 Assists = 35 Points
An alright season domestically but was rewarded with a call up to the World Cup but unfortunately did not feature at the tournament and is still yet to record a senior appearance for England.
View attachment 201657

12. Jean-Pierre Essomba: 0 Points.
Played and scored for the Real Madrid B team but sadly, those don't account for points.
