WE HAVE OUR CHAMPION! Brane Ormso has pulled it off with an incredible second half that included 14 international goals to help lead England to a runners up finish at the World Cup. Brane was sensational through both seasons and that was key, his 193 points was only 1 point better than the 192 he registered in the first part and that shows you just how consistently great he was. I guess you could say some saw this coming as Brane won 5 of the last 7 seasons! Brane finishes the competition as England’s record goal scorer, an Arsenal captain and their most prolific scorer ever with 311 goals in 490 games currently to his name. Brane was able to break away by banging in the goals at the international level at a rate the other competitors simply could not match. Our second placed finisher is Arnold Schwarz and he also had an outstanding competition. Although he lost the competition, Arnold is having arguably the more successful career as he secured an FA Cup trophy at the end of the season to make it 14 trophies to date for his career. 238 goals in 393 games also makes him the highest scoring Manchester City player ever. What makes the loss all the more painful is that Arnold was not able to lead Austria to the World Cup, a failure that cost him the opportunity at more international goals. Lastly, Daniel Porter with what some could call the most successful career of any competitor bar Miguel Palmer. Added a league cup trophy for Chelsea towards the end of the season to make it an amazing 24 trophies so far for the 30 year old although he will be gutted to have lost in the World Cup final for England.

I have not forgotten about the other competitors and their will be one final update to cover the full careers of every competitor once we go 5 years into the future. There will be some surprises like Shane Tracz finishing as the top scorer at the world cup and also finishing with the silver boot. Miguel Palmer with no less than 39 goals in each of the last 4 seasons and 5 European Golden Shoes to his name. Congratulations to everyone that competed, it was the most enjoyable of any of the LSS seasons and I look forward to attending each one of your retirement ceremonies. Thank you to you all and Congratulations to Brane Ormso, the greatest Arsenal player of all time.

WOOHOO!! never in doubt haahaa (H)

Chuffed Brane could do the business but it was only possible thanks for the competition I was up against.

Looking forward to seeing what he does after retirement. Only downside is he never got to wear the black and white of his beloved Newcastle.

This was a great read. I'll be on the lookout in case you decide to do another sometime :)

I think Loki was hard done by stuck in the French league (no doubt as a result of Monaco selling the highest bidder and PSG not letting him leave). He must truly have been the son of a God to stay in the competition so long.

Thanks for running this. Gutted I went out early as looked like I had a really solid career once I'd been eliminated

Won practically nothing but nice to finish on 100 goals for South Korea!

I think i could of achieved so much more if i didnt get stuck at city with so much talent in the pool.

Gotta give you huge credit DIncredible for keeping this going till the end!
Will you be doing another one?

Thanks for doing this DIncredible45, great story. Gutted that Brane Ormso never won the Premier League but he certainly had a "decent" career ;)

Loki never did get the big move to really prove himself, I'm sure if he had it in him to have been a top striker in Spain, or the Premiership but we will never know. I am impressed with his trophy haul even if only one was a Europa Cup.
