Unfortunately no relation, although I actually grew up in the same town and went to the same school as the guy, needless to say I got asked if I was a relation to him every day of my life at school!

Yeh the team is more balanced now, my forwards before just weren't up to it. I have changed up the tactics as well and I am confident we can stay up now!
 
What changes did you make in your tactic? Formation or instructions?

Not really, some people use the same tactic on every addition of FM, no matter what team they are controlling, that's boring. Don't get me wrong I have altered the formations/tactic slightly to fit my team as I unfortunately don't have the best of teams. I was evidentially struggling and this tactic worked a treat, if your not going to seek advice from other players of the game and implement it then why bother being a member of the forum?

We have continued to win games when it really matters, always doing just enough to stay above the drop zone. Stand out performances against Villa and Southampton really showing our intention to stay in the league.

After the 6th Round FA Cup match against Norwich I was kindly offered the opportunity to interview for the role of Saints manager, I turned down the interview without a second thought as I am determined to succeed at Elland Road.

So we approach the final 3 games of the league season and we are 5 points away from Leicester in 17th, although they do have a game in hand and we have 3 really tough fixtures coming up..

We have got ourselves into a great position and I would hate for us to throw it all away now, hopefully if we can get at least 2 points that will mean Leicester have to get at least 7 points from there last 4 games.

After a kind cup run we have made it to the final. To be honest I have been focusing so much on the league that it wasn't until we got to the 6th round that I even realised we had a chance. I am very excited to be in a domestic cup final, even if we are massive underdogs, we have nothing to lose and we will be going all out to try and win against our rivals.

Don't get me wrong, I just think creating tactics that suit your team is the essence of this game, but everyone plays how he wants :)

Tough matches you're facing now, I think you should get at least 4 points in the league. Good luck in the FA Cup final!

Believe me it wasn't for the want of trying, I tried several tactics through out the season. In all honesty I had made mistakes earlier on in the season with transfers and other decisions and had I not taken advice on tactics we would have been relegated and I would have been sacked for sure.

I have tried making the tactics my own, but in truth I do feel a little like I don't deserve credit for the turn around. If we stay in the Premiership I will try to make the team and tactics my own again for sure!

We had a poor run at the end of the season and only managed to gain 1 point out of the last 3 matches. What was really painful was that we was 2 goals up at half time at Man Utd and still drew 3-3 and we was also leading twice at Liverpool before succumbing to a big loss. So after a poor 3 results we really had to rely on Leicester slipping up for us to remain in the league..

So we have beat the drop and Leeds United have retained their place in the Premier League. Luckily for us Leicester had a very poor end to the season and didn't really put up much of a fight. Middlesbrough and Burnley are the teams to join Leicester in the Championship next season and I am already planning on a offering Danny Ings a chance to stay in the Premiership as well as European football.

We dominated the first half taking an early lead through a brilliant chip in the box from Tariq. Unfortunately Ekeng got sent off yet again and the Red Devils took charge of the game from then on.
So not quite the result we would have hope for but we put up a really good fight and also gained Europa League qualification for next season as Man Utd had already qualified for Champions League!

Well done nice first season in the PL. I kinda feel sorry for you though. With getting into the Europa league, because playing the games on the Thursday is a nightmare especially when you are short of quality for the first few seasons in the pl.

There is nothing better than stealing all the quality players from the teams that have got relegated. I love doing that in fm.

How may goals did danny ings, get in your game this past season? cause Certainly in my game he never amounted to much.

Cheers mate. Yeh gonna be a very tough season, I think I am going to spend a lot of time this pre season making sure my squad is 100% prepared.

It's the first thing I do, not much other quality in the 3 relegated squads though. He didn't have the best of season, 7 goals in 21 PL games, I like him though so I am willing to take a gamble at the right price!

I was fuming, 2nd time he has been sent off in a big game, I am possibly looking at selling him on this summer. I will be updating my budget and other bits soon. Cheers buddy!

My previous assistant Terry McDermott decided to retire and when I looked at the available candidates for the role Van Basten was the only person to become my new Number 2. Great to have a man of his experience in the dug out.

One major transfer in, Youri Tielemans comes in from Anderlecht for £12.5 Million and I think that was a bargain as this 19 year old has the ability to be one of the best central midfielders in the world.

Thorgan Hazard coming in from Chelsea I fell is also a pretty decent signing, not quite as talented as his brother but on his day still a great player.

I have also continued to sign some young english youth with both Brown and Akpom coming in to offer Hooper competition upront. I am now just holding out for one more forward on a loan deal.

Not many player sales, quite a few released and loaned out. Most noticeable player out being Gary Mackay-Steven, was always going to be a fringe player and I felt £5.5 Million for a player signed on free a season earlier was a good deal.​

Hazard is a very good winger, I had him in Valencia (free transfer) and his value after one season was 22.5m Euro. Suprised you signed Tielemans, I hope his release clause is big enough :P PS You could show screenshots of the new players.

Yeh he is a great winger and AMC, I am not too sure where he will fit in at the moment but with so many matches this season he is sure to feature plenty. I was equally surprised when my scout suggested him as a potential signing, even more surprised when Anderlecht accepted a 12.5 mil bid. He has a release clause of £57Mil for clubs in CL. Sure here they are..
