Bargain of the round is Coelho for £4m, a really good deal for a fantastic defender. Also, Hagi for £6m is something of a bargain despite his age.

Round could not have went much better for me.
 
Overpaid for wee Jinky, but never mind. Needed Costa to add a bit of creativity to my midfield. Basically completed my squad, just looking to beef it up a bit.

Very pleased to get Lineker as a young striker, and Laudrup! No-one else bid on Laudrup?!?!?? You goons! :p

Gutted to have changed my 6.1m on Hagi down to 5.1 though :S
 
Laudrup has been lauded time and again as one of the best ever players. I think Pele himself said something like: Pele reigned supreme over the 70's, Maradona over the 80's and Laudrup the 90's. Raul and Romario both claim he is the best player that they have ever player with, he was that good. I was very surprised that nobody else bid for him, but there were quite a few good players that round and at this stage it is a case of buying players to fill required positions in your squad.

Bargain of the round is obviously Muller for £0.3m, what a sensational deal for one of the greatest strikers to grace the game. There were quite a few bargains that round though, with £6.2m for Gento a particularly nice buy. Nixon did very well that round.​
