Giving this a go with my City save...

Perhaps not... Not a Tactic that fits around the team...

Tried this for 3 months at Newcastle, in my 2nd season with better players, and conceded an average of 2.8 goals per game. Far too open.

im spurs and this has saved my season, i dont have the players for the front three, 'technically' but eriksen kane and denis suarez are killing it up top, even though 2 of those are not strikers!!
 
I think I’ll need to make a counter version for smaller teams.

It works for me. Dissapointed in the first season with Liverpool but by using this tactic in the second season im number 1 after 15 games. And I didnt use this tactic in the first season.

Two tweaks: remove offside and defensive line set to normal

Looks good! I'll be trying to get this firing with a non league team today. That should hopefully stabilise it for the weaker teams.
