The Race for European Qualification
With 2 matches left to go there are no more than 4 teams all battling for Champions League football next year. This match between Man city and Everton is set to be one for the ages as both teams look to secure prized European football.

Everton 1-0 Man City
Everton set out with a 4-5-1 to stop Man citys midfield playing and maybe give themselves a chance of playing. The match started pretty timidly with neither team wanting to force any attack and get caught on the counter, But City couldn’t resist. Everton saw there chance and broke with Hazard and Agbonlahor. Hazard whos been monumental for the team showed his worth again by playing a ball through to Agbonlahor who still had a lot to do, he skipped past Onouha and slid the ball past Given. The rest off the match was hard fought with Everton Fighting hard to secure there win.

Everton Finish Season On A High
Everton’s last game of the season ended in fantastic fashion as they absolutely thrashed Fulham today.

Everton 6-1 Fulham
Baines started off the scoring with a brilliant curling freekick to start the scoring what a way to start the match. Beckford then doubled the lead on the 25th minute with a well placed finished. He then grabbed another goal from himself on the 28th minute with a scorching effort from the edge off the box. Just before he came off Agbonlahor grabbed himself a goal to round off an excellent season for the lad. Beckford grabbed his Hat-trick on the 58th minute with a great team move. Beckford wasn’t done there as he scored on the 78th minute to grab 4 goals.

Transfers

In’s
Requilme – Experienced midfielder with some much needed champions league experience, and a steal on a free transfer.

Mathias Jorgensen £3.5 Million – Young defender, one for the future, some great cover
.
James Milner £20 million – A high price to play for the midfielder but many believe who could be that touch off class Ferguson’s team needed.

Artem Milyevski £18 million –the Forward was at roma and cost some money, many saying Ferguson paid over the odds for the Striker but ferguson thinks that the price is justified.

Out’s

Bileyaletdinov - £10 million, didn’t fit into my first team plans and a nice little earner on his sale.

Gueye £8.25 million – Young striker that can also play midfield, Ferguson thought he would cash in on the youngster.

Matches

Everton 3-1 Birmingham
The first match off the season and my team were in good shape and it showed as we kicked off the season with a convincing win. Baines started the scoring in spectacular fashion as he rifled the ball in from 30 yard’s What a goal. The next two goals were all made possible by new signing Artem Milyevski, some great work on the sideline to get free then he showed great vision as he pulled the ball back for Fellaini. The next goal was down to him aswell as he played a brilliant through ball to Agbonlahor who finished well. Birmingham got a consolation goal in the second half through Khrin.

Everton 4-0 Sheff Utd
The accolades off this match have to go to Eden Hazard, what a game the young man had. He got the scoring going on the 27th minute as Sheff Utd had battled hard but were unable to stop this fine move which resulted in a goal. Hazard scored just ten minutes later as he grabbed another goal. James Milner opened his account for the club as he scored a swerving freekick which ended up in the top corner of the net. Jagielka finished the scoring against his old club as he scored a header from the corner.

Everton 2-0 Wolves
Once again Hazard was my man of the match, New boy milyevski had the chance to score his first goal with a penalty but he missed and Wolves defence cleared up the rebound. Hazard then showed lethal form in front of goal as he scored with a neat finish. Beckford who came on for Milyevski took his chances thanks to a through ball from Hazard and scored. Many fans are starting to question mileyvski and agbonlahor who haven’t started the season firing yet.

Champions League Group

Everton have one of the easier groups this year.

Zenit
Roma
Everton
Dnipro
Everton 4-1 West Brom
Eden Hazard has really impressed me so far this season even though its early on. He had a hand in 3 of our goals today. He layed up Agbonlahor for his first on the 15th minute, and again the two combined for the second goal on the 26th minute. But it was hazards goal that took my breath away, a great curling strike from the edge of the box. Not to be outclassed by his team mate James Milner then scored the goal of the game, a cracking 30 yard freekick to finish the scoring.

bad luck mate :( Great season

---------- Post added at 10:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:23 PM ----------

Everton 3-1 Tottenham
We made a brilliant start here today as Milyevski got off the mark for us with his first goal on the 5th minute. Luka Modric then scored just before half time to pull level for Tottenham. Manager Ferguson must have said something to his team at half time as they went out and dominated the second half. Though it took some magic from Eden Hazard with a left footed half volley to take the lead for us. Tim Cahill then secured the win with a well placed finish too keep our undefeated run going.

Roma 2-1 Everton
Bad luck tonight we battled hard but Roma was a hard place to go, we played a narrow formation and we were punished for it as they got two goals on the counter attack.

Everton 4-0 Preston League Cup
A routine victory today as we thrashed them, we controlled the whole match and Agbonlahor was the man of the match grabbed himself a Hat-Trick. He was truley on fire.

Everton 2-3 West ham
We went into half time with a 2-1 lead here today. And boy did Tim Howard have a shocker of a second half, he threw the ball straight to Jarvis for the equaliser. Then dropped a cross for West Hams winner. This also Ended our 16 game unbeaten streak which had ran from last season

Everton 4-0 Dnipro
It took us a while to get a goal but we got there in the end. At half time we made a few changes and it paid off on came Saha and Beckford. Saha grabbed a goal on the 46th minute as he grabbed a well placed finish. Hazard then grabbed the second as he fumbled the ball into the back off the net. Saha then struck again with a fine shot just inside of the post. Milner then grabbed the pick off the goals as he fired the ball in from 25 yards.

I use two tactics, depending on the type of team i play. Although main focus of them both is possession football, although one is for wider play and the other focuses on playing quick tempo short football through the middle.

Solid formation

solid.jpg

I used this on my Madrid team, although with the Wing backs in Supportive duty, they make your support to make the attacking off let, Whilst Ozil had wide attacking player instructions to cut inside. This usually ends up with the wide midfielder been closed down leaving the CAM or forward unmarked to shoot.

Also the Centeral Midfielder is set to a ball winning midfielder, which allows the more creative players such as the Depp Playmaker and the ACM to be given the ball to set up chances.

Wide - Direct

wode-1.jpg

This is a wider tactic aimed at getting the ball forward, with lots of crosses and direct runs from the wide players. This essentially ends up with a good strong defence although on attack players flood forward, whilst the anchor man is always there to support attacks. Also the two Wing backs should be fast with good dribbling and crossing to bomb forward and support attacks.

Man Utd 2-0 Everton
We were doing well here until the last ten minutes which shows why Man Utd are the top English team and have won so many titles. This team are getting more and more frustrating as they don’t show any determination.

Everton 4-1 Fulham
I made a decision before this match that Milyevski is on his way out, the boy just cant hack it. So out of the starting 11 he went and in came Beckford. The Forward showed why he was in the squad today with 2 goals to his name just narrowly missing out on a Hat-Trick. Osman and Cahill grabbed the other goals off the game.

[/ATTACH]
Everton 3-2 Newcastle
This win belongs to Hazard, He scored a spectacular hat-trick to win this game all by himself. The pick off his goals was a 25 yard screamer to win the game, Newcastle surprised me today as they were very attack minded.

Everton 3-0 Zenit
Hazards run of form continues here as he scores a double today, though i am going to have to give the man of the match award to Gabby Agbonlahor, the pacey forward was right on form today as he grabbed himself a goal and had a hand in the other 2 as he made a full pitch run to lay up hazard for the second goal. Hazard has now scored 13 goals in 13 appearances.

Everton 2-1 Stoke
Eden Hazard is fastly turning into an Everton God, the Wonderkid scored again today and layed up Agbonlahor as we ran out eventual and quite easy winners. This was quite routine win as Stoke are a very strong and hard fighting side.

Chelsea 1-0 Everton League Cup
It took extra time for Chelsea to grab themselves a goal and it was talisman Lampard to break the deadlock here today as we crashed out of the league cup.

Everton 5-1 Portsmouth
We tore newly promoted Pompey today, With Cahill out injured Felaini stepped into the squad and had an instant impact and won the man off the match award and had a hand in 3 of our 5 goals. Beckford was brilliant today aswell grabbing himself 2 goals. Milyevski also came off the bench to grab himself a goal. The only disappointment off the game was Jagielkas red card.

Everton 3-1 Zenit.
We were at home for this match and we played really well. Hazard grabbed the opener on the 23rd minute with a very well placed shor. Zenit then equalised just before half time leaving the scores even at half time. With hazard on a yellow card he came off for Piennar who had an instant impact as he scored a scorching 20 yard strike to give us a well deserved lead. We then scored the last goal on the counter attack as Agbonlahor grabbed yet another goal.

Everton 6-0 Middelsbrough
Gabby Agbonlahor deserves all the credits here as he grabbed himself a Hat-trick today. Great performance from the lad, the pick of the goals being a diving header. Felaini scored from the spot today aswel, Beckford grabbed himself a well placed goal and striker Milyevski came off the bench to score a goal.

Everton 2-0 Aston Villa
No real stand out players in this game, kind off a routine win for the lads, Beckford and Agbonlahor grabbed the goals and secured the win today. Mathias Jorgensen played his second executive game for us and was our man of the match, good performance from the lad.

Everton 1-0 Arsenal
A performance of champions? We didn’t play well at all and yet we still got the win, our best player on the pitch was Tim Howard. Golden Boy Hazard got the games winner today, well done to the young lad.

Everton 1-1 Roma
Totti scored an early goal for Roma which set them up to dominate the first half which they did, and we were lucky to go in just one goal down. We changed formation and personnel which resulted in us getting a goal back from young centre back mathias Jorgensen in a second half which we dominated. A draw was the right result here. This draw ment that we qualified for the knockout round.

Everton 2-2 Chelsea
We fought well here to get a draw today. Agbonlahor gave us the early lead here today with a good finish after a brilliant ball from Hazard. We went into half time with the lead and our fans were excited. Terry scored just after halftime to grab one back. Lampard once again gave Chelsea the lead against us. Though Saha grabbed a late goal back for us to grab a well deserved draw.

Everton 1-0 Liverpool
I am absolutely delighted with this win today. We battled hard today we changed our formation to a 4-4-2 and it paid off, late on in the game we brought on Tim Cahill and stuck him upfront and it paid off as he grabbed the game winner in the 91st minute. Even though we got the win there was a big downer on the game due to Agbonlahor being injured. The lad will now be out for 6 weeks.

Everton 3-0 Dnipro
Jermaine Beckford got the scoring going on t he 21st minute with a well placed goal. Riquelme opened his effort account as he started the match in place of Hazard to give the young lad a rest and he played really well. Saha got the last goal of the game just after half time with a great close finish.

Everton 1-0 Man city
Yet another great victory today, Hazard got himself on the scoresheet again with a good team goal as saha played the Wonderkid through to play the ball past Given.

Everton to play Beskitas in knockout round

Everton 2-0 Sunderland
It took a james Milner wonder strike to really get this game going today and from the moment the ball hit the back of the net we dominated the game but sunderlands defence held strong until the last minute when Beckford grabbed himself a well deserved goal.

Everton 2-0 Bolton
It took us 65 minutes to break the deadlock as some hard work from Saha layed up Beckford who took his chances well to score. Super sub Mileyvski grabbed himself a goal after coming off the bench to finish off the game.

Everton 6-1 Birmingham
What a performance from the lads today, i knew it would be a good match as Hazard scored a double within 6 minutes of the match starting. The attacking midfielder managed to grab his hat-trick with a brilliant performance. Though the pick of the goals had to go to Milner for his 30 yard strike which was sensational.

Everton 6-0 Wolves
For onlookers today it was a case of whatever you can do i can do better between James Milner and Eden Hazard as both men scored brilliant team and individual goals, both grabbing 2 goals and an assist each. Though Hazard’s game ended in horror as he was taken off on the stretcher. Manager Ferguson’s nightmares were realised when he found out that Hazard will be out injured for 2 months.

Everton 4-1 West Brom
This game belongs to Saha who managed to get a Hat-Trick today, hes done well in stepping in for Agbonlahor. Pienaar who also came in for Hazard grabbed himself a goal.

Everton 2-0 Fulham
With Pienaar and Hazard both out injured it was upto Riquelme to fill the goal scoring boots. The first half was useless. After my half time team talk we went out and immediately scored thanks to Requelme. He then doubled the scoring and his tally for the day with a brilliantly placed goal.

Noone really stood out for me today and it was just a normal team performance and nothing was out of the ordinary as we ran out winners with the goals coming from Baines, Agbonlahor and Cahill.

Everton 4-0 Beskitas ( 10-0 Agg)
Yet another great home performance here as we progress easily to the next round. The pick of the goals was a 25 yard smasher by Hazard. Milner also scored a brilliant goal from just outside the box. Everton 3-1 Tottenham Champions League quarter Final Leg 2
This game was tighter than the scorline suggested. Agbonlahor’s goal on the 31st minute was cancelled out by a Defoe goal on the 35th minute and thats the way the score stayed until the 76th minute when Agbonlahor scored again. Corluka then fouled Agbonlahor on the 80th minute and gave away a penalty which Cahill scored.

Everton 2-1 Juventus Champions League Semi Final Leg 1
We started bright and attacked the Italian side and i don’t think they were used to being pressed from the start. Agbonlahor got an early goal on the 7th minute.
