How do you like the look of the OP? Added colours and club crests to it to liven it up a little.

Matteo Contini should be included as a Real Zaragoza signing for this season (transfer fee was about 2.5M if I'm not wrong now).

MESSI HAT-TRICK HELPS BARCA TO SUPER CUP
BARCELONA 4-0 SEVILLA (Barcelona win 5-3 on aggregate)

Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick to lead Barcelona to a 4-0 victory over Sevilla on Saturday and a 5-3 aggregate win in the Spanish Super Cup.
The Argentine forward had a quiet World Cup in South Africa in June and July but looked more comfortable back among his club mates at the Nou Camp.
Messi grabbed two well-taken first-half goals after Sevilla's Abdoulay Konko had put the ball in his own net early on, and rounded off the night with a third at the end.
"We've won another important title after turning round what was a difficult (first leg) result. We now have the first trophy of the season," Messi told Spanish television.

He's not lost it.. :P

Nope. On his day, is miles better than any other player on the planet. Watched the match, and he decimated the Sevilla defence. If he is half as good this season as he was last night, Barca will win the League.

Hercules, Almeria and Malaga to go down IMO, and Barca to win again :)

Great logo's but trying to read Villarreal almost made me go blind :'(

Malaga? :O They've been taken over by rich arabs. Hercules, Levante and Osasuna I reckon.

My La Liga Predictions

1. Barcelona

3. Sevilla
4. Athletico

This weekend signals the start of Liga BBVA, which makes this a weekend of anticipation, excitement, nerves and hope.

LIGA BBVA 2010/2011 SEASON - WEEK 1

Saturday 28 August -

Hercules Alicante CF vs Athletic Bilbao

- (1700)

Newly promoted Hercules take on one of BBVA's most established teams. Nelson Valdez will undoubtedly be the threat for the hosts, whilst Iker Munain and Fernando Llorente will be the dangers for Bilbao.

My Prediction - 1-2

CF Malaga vs CF Valencia
attachment.php
- (1900)

Arabian owned Malaga take on Valencia, who are somewhat depleted from last season, after losing talismanic striker David Villa(Barca), and winger David Silva(Man City). Eliseu will again look to be the man for Malaga, whilst Juan Mata will be the star for Valencia.

My Prediction - 0-2

UD Levante vs Sevilla FC

(2100)
Levante take on heavyweights Sevilla in the final match of the day. Levante will look to Nacho and Christian Stuani for the attack, whilst Sevilla have a plethora of stars, namely Luis Fabiano, Fredi Kanoute and Jesus Navas.

My Prediction - 0-3

I've put money Barca winning. Wasn't sure if Madrid could beat Mallorca

Yeah, I see Barca winning as well. I can see Real winning, but it will be close.

any one watching the barca game now on Sky Sports 1 there winning 2-0 against Racing, Iniesta and Messi the scorers

Indeed. 2 great goals. Villa was unfortunate to have his disallowed before half time.

He was i thought it was a goal because i muted the sound for a minute:$

Disappointed about Hércules losing, but Athletic are a good team and, to only lose 1-0 is respectable :)

This Barcelona game is great, going to start following the Liga BBVA this season to see if Mourinho really is the special one.

anayone watching the Madrid game after the barca one?
