Yeah that's what I'd like to see, Bale coming forward from left back and Huddlestone and Sandro [I'd go for Palacios personally] holding which can allow Bale to get forward.

The only thing that's worrying is that Defoe can't really hold the ball up for Modric, VDV and Lennon to get involved.

Pavlyuchenko would fit that formation better than Defoe, I think, but he's so hit and miss that I don't trust him in there alone.
