Linecoigne's FIFA World League - a Chairman game

Well tbh, the whole Champions League and continental football thing isn't a big deal for me, as long as the lack of it doesn't make all my players unhappy! The real big competition here is the league, that's where all the big teams are anyways.

If that's the case for everyone, I can easily just use the in-game editor and remove unhappiness for the players who want that continental football :) I understand that it might be annoying for some people though who finish at the top and don't get to try and win the Champions League but at this point I'd have to completely re-edit the database, remake all the transfers and add their stats in, and all of that could take a REALLY long time considering all the promotions and relegations, etc.
 
Alright active chairmen, firstly I'd like to apologise about this Champions League/Europa League issue. Secondly, I'm going to start making the list for the perks to get before the transfer window starts tomorrow and finally, I need to know who will take part in the chairman game for next season.
Could all of you post a reply letting me know if it's a big deal for you that some teams won't have access to the Champions League even when finishing 2nd for example and also give me ideas for the perks and/or a number between 1 and 18 so I can start the process of assigning the perks to the different teams!
Finally, this is very important: if you plan on taking part in this chairman game for season 2, then please send me a PM letting me know that you'll participate and letting me know the team that you have! You may also include in that message your nomination for the Chairman of the Year!

I'm giving everyone until 12pm GMT on Monday to send me that message; not sending me a message by then will result in you losing your club, making it available for anyone else who wants to join.
 
1. No big deal at all!
2. Maybe a financial package (£50 - £75m), player age decrease, things like that?

I'm not too bothered about champions league. Like someone else said, this league is the main competition :)

Also I'll take 2 for my box :)

2: Stadium boost, financial boost, manager formation change, create a wonderkid, +2 to one attribute for one player, or something like that, +5 potential to one player, 1 free transfer of U18 player

Manchester City Owner Press Release

The unknown City owner hasn't made many official statements during the season. The season didn't end up well. Far from the title and losses against teams like Benfica, ugh.

A few days after the season I have cleared up my mind. I'm not happy with the league position, I'm not happy how the team have performed, I'm not happy with the manager. That was the thoughts after all the pressure from media. But wait a second. Manchester is RED. Manchester United finished above City. I can't be more happy after these thoughts. But not completly happy. With the bad results City has lossed a bit of value and I don't want to lose money with the purchase of the club. So I need to make the results better. As good as possible without making Manchester Blue, that would be terrible. So let's hope for a better next season (but not better than the reds).

Many City supporters has gone nuts after this statement. They say that the owner makes the team play bad on purpose. Some rumors even say that he has bribed the referees so City would have the referees against them. Is it the truth or only rumors? Time will tell beacuse the FA has started an investigation of the manner.
