Linecoigne's FIFA World League - a Chairman game

I think they should be protected, as we might get new chairmen in. Would suck for them to take over teams that don't have any players left!
Yeah that's what I thought, just wanted to make sure if anyone wanted to be able to make transfers with uncontrolled clubs :)

I think they should count as foreign transfers. Since all the best players in the world are at these clubs, it kinda sucks if you can't buy half of them...

The question is though, how would you feel if you came and took over at Manchester United for example and all the good players were gone? Even though you'd have a lot of money, for a club who doesn't have a huge balance that'd be a bit unfair right?

I totally get what you're saying. But I was planning to put in a bid for a United player this window. Now, because they have no chairman, I cannot do this. that is also a bit unfair.

How about a compromise? For clubs that don't currently have a chairman, how about charging 3x the player value instead of the usual 2x?

That seems like it could work yeah, I'd like to hear what other chairmen have to say though :)

3x the value seems fair enough to me. You should set a limit to the amount of players that can be bought from those uncontrolled clubs though. Say, no more than 5. Seems a bit unfair if they (for example Man Utd) lost too many players.

I agree with the 3x but there should be a limit on how many players you can buy from uncontrolled clubs

Or you can say that everyone has a maximum of two purchases from an uncontrolled club?

So is that definitely a rule now? And when does the window close?
