Yes we should...especially with the amounts of money we have been spending. But thats just not the case. We got an entire team of players on loan.

And our replacments like Viera, swp, jo...are just ****. Wasn't it like 14 players fit recently?

Thats not very good.
have some respect for SWP, hes a man city legend in my eyes and i could never say anything bad about him. When we were **** a few years ago he was our best player and tore defences to shreds. He doesnt get given a chance.

lol, hardly a legend, thats an overreaction, been a good play for city, but certainly no legend

that was a little bit of genius from Jussi there

Little bit of genius, big bit of useless penalty kicking from Ash. He's not good at it (or set-pieces for that matter), so the sooner Bent starts taking them the better.

he really isnt very good at set pieces, part of why i wanted us to sign is becuase of that but he has dropped right off on that part of his game this season, rather we didnt sign him now

the Hammer just doesnt do taps in does he?

Surely Ashley only really takes the freekicks as of a lack of specialists? If he were at United he'd be down the set piece pecking order.

Yeah, he scored a freekick against Bolton earlier this season but I cannot remember him scoring one before that. His corners are substandard too, and his penalties are terrible. Unfortunately, his ego demands that we let him take them when Downing is better at the two former and Bent the latter.

 the Hammer, Villa favourite.

Stewart Downing? He's very, very good at them. Ash considers himself a specialist, shame nobody else does.

this is the thing, we are lacking in that part of our game when it comes to set pieces

maybe thats why Baines has been linked with Man Utd. Hearing a lot more rumours lately Fergie would like Baines, not only because of his set pieces, but his positional flexibility

Where else does Baines play? Haven't seen him play anywhere apart from LB.

Can do a bit of LM work if he has to, but its rare when that happens, as we have Arteta who can do LM as was demonstrated today when he ripped Newcastle to shreds. But he is best as LB, but can pretty much power down the entire left side

Interesting. Could possibly do the whole Brazil Alves-Maicon axis idea, just on the left, with Evra and Baines if they needed to contain a right wing threat. Being British, he'd probably be quite expensive for United though, not to mention he's quite happy at Everton.

Hmm, Fabio's appearances are already limited, would rather have him develop than bring in more competition. Would prefer to have him playing higher up if we did buy him, which I doubt anyway.

Anyone know why Moyes didn't talk to the BBC yesterday?

Seem to be seeing Steve Round quite a lot recently.

We need the money urgently though. If he ever left be gutted. But the clubs survival is more important.

No idea tbh. In my opinion though, could be the most work Round has done. Does sod all else when we're doing badly
