anyone watching the city game on the free ESPN weekend?

i am

Balls.

Not much to say, really. Two big calls wrongly went against us, but we were generally very unlucky. Diaby and Denilson were poor, Arshavin missed a great chance (aside from the two big calls) but was pretty quiet in the first half & Chamakh hit the bar.

Big 2 points to drop, just got to hope for a Liverpool result tomorrow.

JK said:
United win tomoz we go 6points clear meaning that we could afford to lose a game or draw a few games...

If Utd take that attitude, you're not going to win the league...

We have a game in hand after this weekend anyway, and Utd still have to come to the Emirates, and host Chelsea. Arsenal have an 'easier' run-in.

Quite a match it apparently was, Hangeland didn't play particularly well imo and both Blackburn's goals were because of bad defending. Nice to see Zamora score a goal, albeit from a penalty.

Shame that Arsenal didn't win, but I'm fairly confident they'll still grab the title.

Lauri Dalla Valle also scored on his Bournemouth debut, 10 minutes after coming on. Hope he bags some more and then next season gets introduced to the first team at Fulham.

Very rash. Thought it deserved red. Richards got yellow.

Scrappy win today. Dodgy defending too when we've looked so solid since the turn of the year.

Clattenburg was suspect today with a few penalty shouts that should of been given and then he gives one which is hardly a penalty. No complaints though, it was vital we won today to pull away from the relegation battle.

No game until March 19th now which is Everton away.

Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Only 5 points away from the 6th place (from relegation too though) and we still have matches against Bolton, Everton, Liverpool and Sunderland. Away matches against Everton and Sunderland won't be easy, but with a little bit of magic we could pull them off. Then of course we have ManU at OT to beat. European tour again next season?

richards, zabaleta, kompany, lescott, kolarov, barry, vieira, de jong, yaya

how defensive....?!

Finished 1-0. Wigna ****** up few good chances and a very good chance right at the end of the game. Thought they deserves a point at least.

Worst performance by City this season. We didn't even deserve to win but still won. The players are clearly tired.

Absolutely embarassing performance, the defence was decent and so was barry, outplayed by Wigan ffs. If Mancini cant get it together he has to go. Im just about done with awful performances and winning games because of mistakes and solo efforts.

to be fair you are now seeing what people were saying a few weeks back. the joke is, that city have a side that could be really dangerous if cut loose

You're being harsh on City here guys. We weren't great today and our simple passing game was poor but the fact is... 3 points in the bag!..

United have played **** and managed to win year after year. Silva was great as always and it's great to see Vinnie and Nige back.

this is probably our worst year performance wise for some time, yet we are still playing better than that. This is wigan to be honest

It's the squad depth...we played a 34 year old midfield with 1 foot retired already in the midfield. We have that bad squad depth...honestly.

feel really sorry for Roberto Martinez, imo hes a really good manager and tries to play good football with an average team unlike the bores like Mick McCarthy and Tony Pulis. If wigan could finish they would be pushing for the top half.

You should have enough depth to sink the ******* eiffel tower.

Yes we should...especially with the amounts of money we have been spending. But thats just not the case. We got an entire team of players on loan.

And our replacments like Viera, swp, jo...are just ****. Wasn't it like 14 players fit recently?

Thats not very good.
