First of all let's get things straight we are 13th in the league, not bottom. At the end of the day we are too good to go down, and should not be discussing who's leaving cos they won't play in the championship. Secondly, I think it's premature and stereotypical to say Rodwell and Coleman WILL leave. The only way I believe these players will leave is if we seriously need the money and the offers are too good to refuse. Mark my words neither of these two will pull a "Torres" and demand to leave. Coleman would be no where without Everton and he knows that.

Baines won't leave. Blue through and through, not to mention he can barely spend more than a week away from home.
tell that to that classic west ham side. or leeds. no side is too good to down points if you are not picking up the points. I dont think they will, but its by no means a certainty they will stay up

Everton will not go down

They have too many class players

Howard, Cahill, Saha, Arteta, Baines, Jagelka (sp) Coleman Felani

Moyes is to good to get Everton relegated, & Cahill's goals will keep them up.

Everton won't go down but if they somehow did they may be forced to sell their best players, including the 'loyal' Evertonians Rodwell and Coleman. Trust me being a Leeds fan I saw our best and apparent most loyal players leave because they wanted/had to. Going down would put Everton in severe financial meltdown, much like Leeds. But this is all pointless as it looks highly unlikely that Everton will go down.

James, Repka, Dailly, Brevett (Di Canio 82), Johnson, Sinclair, Lomas, Cole (Hutchison 87), Defoe, Les Ferdinand, Kanoute.

that team once got relegated... Better then this everton side

Well, I think it's premature and stereotypical to say that neither of them will "pull a Torres" and demand to leave. They know and we know they're soon going to be bigger and better than their club if they aren't already. You're being naive about this: I used to believe that people like Barry and Milner were too loyal to leave their club unless we wanted rid of them, but we all know how that turned out. Just because someone would be nowhere without the team that developed them means nothing: Fabian Delph would be nowhere without Leeds, but he left them. Ashley Cole, Kolo Toure, both would be nowhere without Arsenal, but they left. Et cetera.

Baines won't leave. Blue through and through, not to mention he can barely spend more than a week away from home.

Ashley Young won't leave Villa. Claret and blue through and through, not to mention he can barely spend more than a week away from Birmingham.

Not even going to comment on the match. But I will say this. I don't think (and also pray) we'll go down. But I do expect a major upheavel during the summer, and expect the big players to leave. Especially if they can't agree a new contract with Fellaini

I think a more pressing concern will be if David Moyes is head-hunted by a more financially secure ( notice I didn't say ' bigger ' ) club. If he goes I think Everton will implode. I'm sure many of the players have a great affinity with him, & if he leaves through sheer frustration at the lack of investment in his team....... oh dear.

GodCubed;987182 Ashley Young won't leave Villa. Claret and blue through and through said:
Hmmm......I reckon Barcode fans used to say the same thing about Carroll. Beware of club politics & personal ambition - a powerfull & potentially devisive cocktail.

Delph :'( No wonder our academy isn't producing any first teamers for us, they all get stolen by PL clubs (including Everton coincidentally)

He'll more than likely walk-don't think BK wants to sack him. But the odds of him leaving have been slashed to 3/1. I honestly don't think he can do anymore. I don't understand why we can spend millions on an admin building, when the money could've been used elsewhere. I really have had enough, well and truly. It's obvious other people on that board have enough money to waste on a goddam building, and obviously don't care about the club if they're investing on worthless **** like that. If we ever did go down, it's not Moyes who deserves it or the fans, or even SOME of the players. Its the dam board. It'll be the only way they'll listen. And I wouldn't even blame the players if they wanted to leave tbh

Got to say, looking at those highlights of the match that's the first time I've ever seen Moyes look properly defeated...

this is the thing, he's had tough times, but this time its like his determination has been broken...

That's what Newcastle/Leeds/West Ham said as well.

I know. Think he's resigned himself to a very bleak last run-in for remainder of season. And also resigned to the fact, that if he's in charge for next few years, it's always going to be a case of having to sell to buy.

I dont think he will be in charge, i honestly think he will walk in the summer if there is no investment, you can only swim against the tide for so long, and he looks haggard, not the Moyes of old

Ye i definitely agree with that, his eagerness and urgency on the touchline just doesn't look moyes like...

his facial expressions when the camera pans on him are despondent, maybe he has been there too long, if there is such a phrase.

well, as we all know, even the best managers can only do so much with so little

And it is a crying shame that a manager of Moyes' talent hasn't been given the backing he needs and deserves. He could've made Everton a true force with some hard cash. As it is...

sturridge goal was class

chelsea have a good player on their hands :)
