And so we finish the season as Premier League Runners up. It feels somewhat bittier-sweet
though having not been involved int he title race in any meaningful measure. Though when
we digest the stats, we have lot to be optimistic about.
We scored 68 goals; tied 3rd with Manchester city for most goals scored
We also only conceded 36 goals. Only Chelsea and Man United conceding less.
Daniel Sturridge went on an end-of-season run of brilliance: Scoring 10 and creating
2 goals in 6 games. If we can keep him fit... A title challenge could be a realistic aim!

Overall. I think we've massively improved from last season. We returned to the top-4.
History teaches us thought hat a 2nd place finish can be a curse. We've to make sure
we don't rest on our laurels. Consistency is what's expected of us! And I expect no less!

Despite scoring 5 goals, no matter how many times we asked, we couldn't get the ref to just
'give' Wisdom's own goal to us. Sturridge again scoring for fun. The man's on a goalscoring mission!

Our finishing was appalling. We should have won this game but we'd far too
many shots off target. Disappointing way to end the season.
