Our Goalkeepers performed well over the pre-season period.
Butland won't join the club until September 9th since Stoke
demanded a 3 month loan-back clause in the deal. He'll be
unavailable to play in the league until January.

Moreno and Clyne got forward well and got 3 assists between them on the
tour of the Americas. Sakho, Gomez and Skrtle look ready and rearing to go!

New signing Correa hit the ground running; scoring 4 and setting up 2 in his 6 games.
Between himself, Coutinho, Firminho and Lallana, we have a midfield with incredible
creative potential.

Origi stood out as the club's in form striker as he bagged 6 goals in pre-seaosn. Sturridge
disappointed over all and will have to start from the bench as he looks to impress me in
training over the coming weeks. Jovetic is still injured and I expect him fit in 3 weeks.

The spine of your team is looking delicious, should be on for a cracking season!

A very good season ! Finishing 2nd in the toughest league is a big achievment.
Some really nice transfers,both in's and out's.
Keep up the great work,mate ! :)

Some terrible, terrible signings there. I mean why would you sign Butland who has potential to be the best keeper in England! Come on Brendn haha!! Some great results mate, Mendy looks like he will be brilliant, Have you loaned him out as I noticed he wasn't on your pre season tour? Correa looks like he will add that extra bit of creativity and goals which could help challenge for the top spot!

Your story is inspirational! I wish mine was 1/8 as good. Good Luck in your next season!

I know, what was I thinking. I've already asked for my money back and SI have issued a formal apology for allowing these game breaking bugs; terrible signings are supposed to have been patched out after the BETA :P

Nope haven't loaned Mendy out but he's working away with the U21s. he's not quite ready for First team football and I'd to ****** Origi into the side so it was a pre season too soon for Mendy.

Aye, Correa is a real livewire in midfield. I've a few of them but it's great to have such options since injuries are inevitable. Thiago, Correa, Coutinho & Firminho is a terrifying midfield to go up against though. Such creativity. They can make goals out of nothing from anywhere on the pitch.

The squad is moving closer to the kind of teams I like playing with :) I'm hoping Season 3 is where we make our move. Last seaosn's 2nd place was an over-achievement (even byt he games standard as I won 'overachieving team' ).

Cheers mate. I hit a vein of consistency at the end of the season and we kept it up to secure 2nd place. It showed me what the squad is capable of.

Cheers mate. Means a lot to me.
I'll have a look at your story now :)

Ah yes, Why. Can't. We. Be. Great I remember spotting it and thinking it looked cool. You seem to have gathered a decent following. I like the presentation, it's clean and informative :) Since you're playing int he MLS, it's great exposure for the league and to help people understand better how the league works; the draft seems to confuse a lot of people.

I've never managed in America so I haven't a clue how any of it works :p

Jack butland will not disappoint. Currently in my stoke save he has done wonders for me

Now is the time for Liverpool to prove how great team is ! I have faith in you !

Wilshere has had a rough time at Arsenal over the past 3 years, finding opportunities hard to come by.
He's one of England's most technically gifted Midfielders so it made sense to bring him to Anfield. I'm
determined to help him get back to his best and find his feed as the world class midfielder we all know
he could be.

Milner hellped us steady the ship and get us to where we are now but we no longer need
his dynamism in midfield. Given that I'm molding the team into a passing, possession side,
I've no need for a workhorse. Glad for all he's done for the club and we wish him the best

Well that certainly is a very unexpected and rather controversial transfer. The Champions League draw could have been worse, I feel that you should be able to get into the next stage. Letting Milner go was probably the right choice given the style of football that you want to play. Will we be seeing any more transfers?

I've just gone through all 30 pages (dedicated reader!) and you've got a nice team building up here with some quality signings but then, what is there to expect from a Breadn thread :P and funnily enough when i click on the FM16 part on here, I was not surprised to see this up, I am hopefully getting the game tomorrow so the start of my Brighton one will begin tomorrow, wonder how many I will have to go through this time :P

Aye, Could have been a worse draw but it could have been better. No such thing as an Easy Champions League group though. They simply don't exist as every team is here because they had winning form last season. Nope, no more transfers. Butland, Correa and Wilshere is enough this term. Might dip in in Janurary if I feel we need the players

Cheers mate. I like to slowly rebuild my squads and figure out where I'm going on a season by season basis :) Helps keep the game interesting for me as well as stops me being broke and financially ruining the club :P Best of luck in your Brighton save.

Nice win to kick off the new season. Correa making an impact already by grabbing two. I was
disappointed to conced 2 in our first game so I need to make sure we've defensively stable this
season.

We should have taken a clean sheet from this game but a poor piece of goalkeeping my
Valdés saw his spill a near post cross into his own goal. Still, a hat-trick form Coutinho and
Origi netter two set get his season off to a good start.

We managed to get more shots away than our possession should have allowed for. Lloris kept
us at bay though and Spurs took a great chance. Should have been more but Spurs's finishing
was poor.
