Liverpool FC: The 5 Year Plan

Even a 2nd place finish is a step in right direction mate! But West Ham though, Expect Butland to go from CL and PL challengers to West ham.... Really haha!!

Aye. A second place finish would see us achieve par with last season. Automatic qualification for the Champions League always helps aswell :)

But yeah, the very idea of Butland giving up first team football at Liverpool; a title charge and champions league football for a team that's had one good season.... next transfer story please :P

Heartbreak. We were the better side but just didn't make our chances count.
Our slip up allowed Chelsea to mathematically secure the title. We've dropped
to 3rd behind City. The final day will settle the table and decide who finishes where.

Great win. We dominated and got our 3 points!

I'm genuinely gutted for West Ham. They just about didn't make the top 4. After gallantly
fighting and leading the league for most of the season, their form dramatically fell apart
when it mattered most.

I did google him after I posted Bren haha. He looks pretty good, better than Navas but not De Bruyne / Sterling / Silva

They sold De Bruyne to PSG. City had a bad 2015/16 season where they finished 6th and sold a few of their stars. Toure including.

Overal a very solid season, I feel that you now have a good foundation in place. A couple of good signings and next year could be a very good one for you.

Aye. I'm quite pleased. Though I have the headache of who do I bring in and who do I sell as anyone coming in will be coming into an already large squad. Some tough decisions to be made.

Goalkeepers

Our goalkeepers performed to a reasonable standard. Valdés performed well in the first half of the season
while Butland kept a clean sheet in 43% of his appearances. Butland also conceded an average of 0.96
goals per game while Valdés conceded 1.07 goals per game. Small differences but these margins can win
you the league.

Defenders

Skrtel and Gomez formed quite an impressive partnership this season, making 31 and 34 appearances respectively. Clyne and Moreno have been simply marvelous operating as wing backs as they've posed
a constant threat down each flank. They stayed relatively fit and played regularly this season meaning
Bertrand was handed only a few appearances.

Overall, I'm quite happy with the defensive performances from the side. We kept 14 clean sheets and
conceded only 34 goals; only Chelsea conceded less with 32.

Midfield

This is where the majority of our rotation occurred. Brozovic, Thiago and Wilshere put in very good
performances this season while Mascherano gave us that little bit of ugly muscle we needed to allow
the our creative players the room to work their magic. I was disappointed with Firminho this season as
his performances dipped near the end of the season and he lost his wide right role to Origi. Coutinho
and Correa were nothing short of magical this season; scoring 28 goals and creating 20 between them.
They pulled the string as season and proved themselves important Key players.

Strikers

Daniel Sturridge once again finished as the clubs top scorer with Origi finding a vein of form late
in the season to really help our cause. Jovetic disappointed me and never really done enough to
warrant starting more games. Though Mendy is the talking point of the season right now. There
hasn't been this much excitement about a player since Michael Owen.

I'm quite happy with our Strikers performance this season. The team scored 76 league goals this
season; 2.0 per game average, so I'm happy with our forwards.

Strong finish to the league!! Jovetic could be one to be sold due to the goal return he has been offered? Team played very well so it is hard to see were you could improve in regards to transfers!

Just read all 40 pages so far in one sitting. I love Liverpool and I'm still on my save with them on 2015 (don't have cash to splurge on 2016 now, but defo going to after reading your story, got me all fired up). Don't listen to what idiots say on this page, it's your game do what you do. I'm loving it.

Aye. I think I'll not bring anyone in but use the loan players who're coming back as part of the squad rotation. I want to see whta they can offer he club before I go signing anyone new. Maybe one or two key signings but nothing major.
