shall ignore sammy lee then. could you help fix my leaky defence? i have set roles as keeper, full backs (auto), centre defenders (defend), ball winning midfielder (defend), advanced playmaker (support) and the rest (wingers and fc) as attack.

What are your defensive problems? Conceded due to what kind of attacks? Counter attack? Range? Close range? Winger assist? Another important thing is, every match before they start give them instructions on your opponents like who to close down, show weaker foot etc.
And try to find good Assistant Manager.. You will reap good benefits from it. Some important attributes are Tactical Knowledge, potential ability, current ability, man management, level of discipline. etc
Please do note that my tactic is not the best =P I am constantly improving my tactics, doing minor experiment and stuff to get the best out of my every players.

from what i see, my defenders always lose their man and result in opponents>defenders in my half. should i change my wings from attack to support to provide more cover in the flanks?

Drop your defensive line if players are getting behind your defence, or change your marking to man marking
Try playing Wide Wingers and change to automatic. If you play Kyrgiakos, his partner should play as a CB cover. Or you can try playing Kyrgiakos to limited defender, defend. If you have CB that is slower, get your partner to act as a cover =)

Erm, got some good players, never heard of most of them before, none probably good enough for Liverpool team, maybe Sapara for backup. Best signings are - Idan Tal (£85k, class bargain), James Vaughan on loan (£875k fee), Marek Sapara (£1.7m), Jakob Poulson (£1.3m, good all round winger), Adam Johansson (£1m, good RB backup). Most of them from the Europe expect from Idan Tal, all good EPL players. Just lost 2-1 away to Chelsea, once again was unlucky, tough start to the season.

Tough battle against Inter, Eto has been constant threat up front. Di Maria cross from the left to Torres and he powers a header in! Inter answered back by scoring back a goal. My players were obviously not playing their best, i decided to swap Aquilani for Monster Masch since i need more attacking flair. To my suprise, Aquilani really did a good job and score a goal!!

Went Liverpool using woodys 4-2-3-1 tactic. Won the Premiership and Champions League first year, Nearin the end of my 2nd season, my how the tables have turned. Signed Joaquin for 24m, and he has flopped. With 6 games left im struggling to finish 3rd.And have been put out of all other competitions, my real worry is that I am 40m in the red, I can really see Liverpool go into administration unless a takeover happens.....still hooked though finishing 3rd aint a disaster......watch this space.......

Hamsik is a bit strange

John Fleck is a good buy too. Quality playerNgog would do great. I might try to get Edin Dzeko next season.

i think you can go for rubin alkazar right back he is a quality back up can get him for like 4-5 m
I see.. Napoli will always be very annoying and calculative.. Tried to bid Hamsik and fail =P Zambelli from brescia can be a decent backup.. plays DM, RM and DR. Get him around 3.2m or lesser (H)
