can anyone recommend a good and maybe young striker to replace martin palermo in my team? thinking of dzeko but he is more than a backup and is quite expensive...

plus should i follow my asst man suggestions on making mascherano slow down play and for johnson not to cut in from wide positions?

i have to say i read alot of big 4 stories and they dont need to do anything, but you have, its a great layout and i love how you make your own tactics, this sounds hypocritical coming from me but most just download them from others, its a really good story fantastic job mate keep it going

Thanks Tiger! Yeah, i didnt like to use other people's tactic. It's asking other people to help you manage your team. Will try improve layout.. I have seen some great layouts and it has inspired me Hope to complete my first season today

Could use Gerrard, Moutinho or Aquilani to cover Masch though. Still it depends on how much is the opposition willing to pay for him.

35apps 41goals already! How deadly can he be?! Wonderful performance by Liverpool. But downside is Insua is injured. Need to rely on Agger to be LB for awhile. Oh Man City just got Maicon :O They are looking more and more dangerous

This is bad Cardozo ineligible. Gerrard, Insua, Vukcevic injured for at least 3weeks to as much as 3months. Glen Johnson suspended. Leaves me with 5 subs Another thing i realise was, my Back four is Agger, Kryvtsov, Skrtel, Carra. Surprisingly, they did reasonably well. Agger is playing like he played there for years! Agger picked up to MoM, im proud of him =)

This is just so exciting! Jovetic injured but at least i got Maria back to full fitness. My starting lineups looks deadly, all the best to Chelsea. Please dont cry in front of the Champions :x Glen Johnson is back, Kryvtsov have an important role, expecting a good performance by him. Agger please continue your fine form of run. KING TORRES!! Show them who's the KING!

KING made a great solo effort and Cech only manage to push away, Maria pick up the lose ball and bang bang bang! Great return by Maria! Agger made a Xabi Alonso pass! 50yards pass! Torres on the break! One on One against Cech, this time he shot it at a tight angle! Another goal for Liverpool! 2-0 up! Chelsea looks like they are on the verge of crying :x Chelsea is being evil, took advantage when Skrtel is off the pitch and pick up a goal. Game ended with a 2-1 win!

My Thoughts: Can i do it? FA cup final, Champions Cup Semi final against Barcelona =( EPL currently 1st, 3points clear with only 5games to go. Sons, lets make a history! Aim for 3titles! Lets do it!

Thanks lew for following my story till now Yeah Torres is the KING of football =P 37apps, 42goals. I still think it was a waste that he was injured for 11days. He could have tally up to 50goals. wad a waste!

No idea. Here the screenshot.. Cant say he is the best buy, but definitely showing signs of being a good CB One thing you might wanna take note is that 22matches he played. He only got 5yellow cards. Carra got (36apps) 11, Skrtel (32apps) 13, Agger (26apps) 6. Shows alot of his temper. Lacks the anticipation if not he would have be a star buy! Was looking at another guy. Great CB stats except that he was 178cm tall. I might try getting him

Torres once again showed me why he is the KING ^^) rested him on the 75th mins for Ngog.

(EPL) Liverpool vs Birmingham: 4-1 Torres (2), Cardozo (2)
Wonderful performance by two of them! Cardozo withh 28apps, 16goals, 11assist. Torres with 40apps, 46goals, 15assist! He has been lethal this season! Agger is really good at LB, im amazed.. He can lay good long range passes. Such a delight to see my team performing like contenders.

Note that i changed my formation to diamond. For now, it seems that it is working very smoothly. Bagging goals, defended nicely. Next match is against Barcelona.. ****, im not ready to take on them yet. I really missed Gerrard especially. I need his leadership and that iron will of determination. Champions Cup are left with R.Madrid, Barcelona, Man U/Chelsea(Couldnt remember) and of cos Liverpool : ) FA Cup against Arsenal. EPL left 3 match to go! All the way sons!

just beat man utd 7-6 on penalties in carling cup. edited my tactic here and there to withstand utd's barrage. but torres still did not perform up to expectations, gave one 1 assist. =(

but the victory still cost me problems. aquilani injured for 3-4 wks. now my midfield are in big trouble, with masch injured for 10-13 days and gerrard injured for 3-4 wks too. left vukcevic and benayoun for cm positions.

oh man =( That is bad. Play Vukcevic and Benayoun for support CM and strategy to standard or defensive for now. At least till Monster Masch is back.

Did torres have enough support?

Anyway, i found 3 transfer targets. Mainly to get just a decent backup for Glen Johnson(Means lousier one)

And a Pacy CB. Took a look at these and please give comments!
