A decent result with what was for the most part our second team. Trippier put in a great performance to earn himself the man of the match. Sinclair also put in his best performance in my time at the club, grabbing the only goal of the game in the process.

Arsenal Vs Aston Villa

We were unlucky against Arsenal today, although I can't really complain about the result. Both wing-backs Trippier and Amavi had a poor game and that really effected our play, both were poor defensively and were far from effective going forward. Embolo started his first game and put in a decent performance, I will be hoping more from him as he settles in for sure.
