Well yeh started to think about it afterwards as I only checked the games from League standigs and then there was in the news the thing where it reads ur manager name, ur Games won percent, Goals made, conceded etc and there read 30 but it probably counts the Super Spanish Cup and European Super Cup games.

So sorry, my mistake :)

I'm in the process of trying to create the best tactic for Football Manager 2011 Patch 11.3

I dont think many people can argue that the most dominant teams in the world at the moment are Barcelona and Spain, and this is obviously because of their high possession

So i want to make a tactic very similar to their tactics, with high possession and a lot of CCCs, but also with a good amount of clean sheets

Any help would be appreciated, I'm going to be testing with Blackpool, as they are the weakest team in the Premier League, but if they dominate games with such an average squad then we'll be on to a winner

My experience of game engine is that you can't have both possession and loads of CCCs, at least with a weak team. Often the best (maybe the only) way to get more CCCs is to reduce position, meaning playing more quicker and more attacking mentalities.

Id Just Thought Id Post This 11 minutes into the game they may have to many crosses but my right and left back have dealt with them very well the Rb Is Eardley On Gonzalez Castro And On The Left Crainey On Ratinho

Okay so...

34 Goals made in 9 Games, no friendlies.

So its 3,7 Goals per match average.

i dont think thats true, im not looking for like 10-20 cccs a game or anything, im looking for mainly cccs instead of just random long range shots

Arkle U might try this 4-5-1 with DM and see if it works for ur Blackpool?

The thing is, that to be able to convert a big amount of possession into goals, you need players of quality. Players with good creativity, decision and passing. This is why Barcelona succeed. If the opponent sits back and defend, they bounce the ball around ( leading to lots of possession and passing for Xavi) until they manage to drag the opposition out of position. If the opposition actually play aggressive against them, their players are intelligent enough to put the early key pass into one of the front men. Also remember that they have a lot of flair, players that break the pattern and create chances out of nothing. If they had not had Messi but instead Marlon Harewood, I am not sure that they would have won anything.

Here Are The Key Points From my 1st Game That Seem To Reduce Mallorca To Get There Studs Stuck In The Back Of my Players Legs And Yes i may have only wone due to a penalty but i still held of the opposing strikers which is where im going to build my BASIS of this tactic Screenis Below

i dont want to use a dm, but i am thinking to changing the formation to either a 4-3-2-1 (2 wingers 3 cms) or a 4-3-1-2, just as there seems to be a lack of movement in the final third with 3 strikers

good win mate! did get absolutely crushed but your defence held up well

any chance you could do a screenie of their cccs? if you limited them to long range efforts you could be on to something :)

Well my DM is like a Ball winning midfielder with Support duty :) So easy to convert..

But I'd be curious to know how these settings I have would work with Blackpool etc.
