Fair enough then, agree fans can vent their feelings, but to boo Milner, who hasn't really done anything wrong, would seem a bit odd, as he has done well for your club, but needed a move to a club that matched his ambition.

So why has he gone to Shity???? lmao

Seriously, as a Man Utd fan or any club fan, you gotta reckon that Man City will win many trophies in the future.

or they'll turn into madrid and end up not winning much despite possessing some of the worlds best players.

Please stop calling us shity, act your age. His ambition is to win the league, and i can tell you within the next 5 years, we will a title.
agree about the name calling. but you cant guarantee a title in five years, unless you can see into the future, which i very much doubt. and real madrid have done what you did, but with much better players, and that didnt work out so well. this season will also be last time you spend a fortune on players because of the financial rules

I think that our squad is excellent, i think we have the right manager, and the owners who are willing to put the money in. I believe we will win a title within 5 years.

you have a good chance but, you have never mounted a title challenge and you're up against powerhouse who have, and the financial rules, regardless of what your owners want to put, will limit your spending. and we're yet to see if you have the right manager. he needs to survive this season first

The reason you are spending fortunes this summer, is because from the 2011/12 season, as will be described in rules, the club runs the risk of breaching the UEFA rules by spending over and above what it earns look at the spurs thing i also put up it will explain it. Mancini knows whats coming hence the massive turnover players now. he would have rather slowly changed the squad but he doesnt have the time

not picking on you joe, city have great potential to win a title, but they are yet to demonstrate the ability to challenge, finish in the top 4 well, and people will really start to take you seriously

I know youre not picking on me, those rules are stupid if you ask me, notice how they do it as soon as someone thats not a big club starts spending money, what happens if we spend more than we earn?

The rules aren't stupid -- they've just come at a bad time for City. The rules will stop many of our beloved teams going out of business. After all, despite the many rivalries etc... we all need each other to survive.

Unless a closed off super league comes into place (which could happen if the big clubs get ****** off and breakaway) that includes the same 20 clubs for the rest of eternity, leaving everyone to fight for scraps.

Btw, I have no idea why I used the word Unless at the beginning of the second paragraph, lol, but it's late and I can't think of anything else atm.

On another note, City fans must be happy with Balotelli making an instant impact on his debut in the Europa League.

Portsmouth spent more than they earn. Look what happened.

The rules doesn't applies only to City. It is a way to make sure teams wouldn't spent over their limits and go broke. Stop acting like it's City against the whole world.

Difference is, pompey werent owned by super rich billionaires, who dont care about blowing billions of pounds for the good of the club. Redknapp ruins teams wherever he goes. Im not acting like its city against the whole world.

I kind of agree with you Joe. As long as the clubs are spending money which is coming in as equity payments and that equity is sufficient to ensure the clubs won't go bust if someone pulls out their predicted funding, then I don't see any issue with what City are doing.

Clubs will drive a coach and horses through the new rules anyways. There's always ways round them - sponsorship by the owner being one potential route.

Wouldn't be so sure about it being a happy camp at City. Ireland is obviously not a happy bunny about being forced out, but he's given substance to a lot of the rumours doing the rounds in Manchester about players at City having a sweep stake on Mancini getting sacked. There's the story that Bellamy was asked to apologise or be forced out on loan and telling Mancini he'll go on loan til January and then go back to City as Mancini would be sacked by then...

It'll be interesting to see what happens. I think the press will go head hunting for Mancini unless he's top of the table or close to it in the early part of the season. Don't think that would be fair, but you know as well as I do that your expectations as City supporters have risen to almost ridiculous levels right now. Just hope that you guys don;'t end up like some of the Chelsea lot have ended up - money without any class is going to have everyone rubbing their hands with glee if things go **** up.
