Ok I apologise to Scott on that one.

Bayern seem to dig deep tonight and find something united did not have to win it.
 
if rafeal got sent off, why didn't van buyten get sent off for kicking threw rooney?? would have been a harsh yellow card, but rafael's as only a slight pull....
 
We lost mainly because rafael got sent off:'( **** we were leading 3-0
Ferguson is gonna kill them

Rafael's was a red card.There's no denying that i'm afriad.Both were very just yellows.

why don't man united fans realise it doesn't matter to Liverpool or Chelsea fans they went out earlier than United. At the end of the day, none of them are going to win it. :D Just accept it United fans.

Bayern were the better team over both legs and deserved the victory. The decision to send off Rafael was the correct one, and I'm glad the referee had the stones to do it.

United really need some lessons in containment
Carrick was way too slow on the ball
And that tackle on Schweinsteiger was a FK aswell, the ref was poor. And im pretty sure that was his highest profile match to date aswell
 
No English teams in the Semi's now, I blame Liverpool for that.
 
I have to give credit to Bayern. Didn't give up. But Fergie made errors
1.Risking Rooney
2. Dropping Park
3. Not an error but Gary Neville might have been a wiser choice in terms of experience and could of swapped him with Rafael at half time.
4.We need someone to play with Rooney. He's isolated on his own

This is what I think. We'll be back next year
 
United were unlucky tonight i thought.
First half they were brilliant and Olic's goal changed the game, if they could of held on untill half time they probably would have won.
Robben was poor tonight but took his goal well when he had a chance. The amount of times he's saved them this season is quite astonishing.

Anyway, it's a shame there's no English clubs left in the comp, quite bad for the EPL aswell.
Lastly, the United fans coming on here complaining about other people taking the **** - shut up.
It's 'banter' remember? Im sure all of you who were on the Chelsea v Inter thread are well accustomed to it.
