Busy weekend lads. I'll finish the season, but maybe not update. We'll have to see. :S

Nice one bcfc - 20th to 16th!! And Walker!!! Btw, did you mean 'Boro are in debt?

No time to update today but I will tomorrow, noticeable loan signings in January were Di Santo, Tom Cleverely, Cathcart, Gibson and a few more I can't remember.

Ok Max :)

I'll update the end of my season in about an hour ;)

I sit out on the balcony of my new house, pondering the year so far. It has been one of many twists and turns. Beside me, is my girlfriend, smiling, as we sip wine from our glasses. I can't concentrate at the moment and I can only think about the end of the season. I knew we had to secure a mid table finish but it was a matter of getting there first. We had some big games coming up and I knew we needed maximum points to keep ourselves clear of the dreaded relegation zone. The sun started to go down and I realised how lucky I am. I kiss my girlfriend goodnight and trudge up the long stairs, ready for tomorrow. The start of the transfer window. I rub my hands with glee...

Franco Di Santo, Hayden Mullins, Bryan Hughes, Marcus Bent, Jack Cork, Stephen Ward, Henri Lansbury and I sit down at the table. I greet my new signings with a smile that spreads right across my face. I have brought all of them in on loan, except Marcus who is a £700,000 signing from my favoured club, Birmingham. I had to push the board for the cash and new chairman Thomas Baxter, finally gave in. I tell the players of my expectations and then we share a drink in the bar. I leave them to chat amongst themselves as I have urgent business to sort out...

I wave goodbye to Darren Ambrose and Alassane N'Diaye. I didn't want to see the latter go but I had no choice. They were part of the old era and we need to forget that now. I gained a sweet £2M but I don't get to see any of the cash. I am going to have a hard time with cash. But my problems, have only just begun...

Marcus Bent!?
The one Blues player who I will admit is ****!
Wrirting update now ;)

He has done OK so far. Just been injured for 2 months though. XD

End Of Season Update!

'The season was dissappointing in all honesty, Yes we may have finished midtable but the performances in the first half of the season were dire! We need to drastically improve if we want a top-half finish this season. Due to the financial difficulties (again!) at the club, I have no money to spend on transfers. I will be looking to bring in players on loan and maybe a few frees.'

End of Regular Season Update

Potential at the Palace

"Crystal Palace have completely deserved their place in the Play-Offs Jeff, and on current form they are my favorites to go up from these, 100%" said Paul Merson on Gillette Soccer Saturday.

"The way they are playing nobody can write them off" said Steve Claridge on The Football League Show

And "We are under no illusions, we are not in the EPL yet and if we think we are guaranteed a place we will still be playing in this league next year." was the rather resounding claim by Palace Manager Luke Tonks.

"Notts Forest are a side who I have despised for years and I will be desperate to beat them in the 2 upcoming games. Manager Billy Davies has done a great job there and they will be tough to beat.

In the League games between the two this season, they both won their Home fixtures so there is little to separate these two sides.

Forest Manager Billy Davies added to the pre-game tension by adding, "We have beaten this Palace side already this season at the City Ground and we will definately do it again!"

April Player of The Month - Darren Ambrose - A quality player who is starting to settle nicely at the club.

Unlucky mate. Some good stuff but good luck for next season! Great stuff Luke. You would have won the league!

Chris we will destroy them next season (H)

I am in with a shot of the playoffs. :D On a six match winning streak. ^^)

The team keeps getting better. I will do in depth reviews of both legs of the play-offs in due course...

I was shaking. We were in the final of the play-offs. The lads had pulled off a spectacular feat winning most of their games. We then drew both games to Bristol City in the Semi Final and in the Second Leg it was the youngster Nathan Pinney who had scored the glorious winning penalty. We set up up a fixture with West Brom who we had already beaten just a few days earlier. This was the moment we were all waiting for. I kissed my wife and embraced her. Then, I led my team out of the tunnel. Time stood still. We were in the final. The biggest day of our lives. This was Wembley.

We can do this thought Manager Luke Tonks on the Eve of the Play-Off Final clach against Swansea. Over 2 legs we had beaten Notts Forest, who were a great team. We had survived a 10 point deduction and were here in the final. I knew that this match would change the club forever. A win would surely mean financial stability while a loss...who knows. Would I have a Job this time next week. My 2 young stallions Sean Scannell & Victor Moses were pacing around the dressing room. They had been under constant media scrutiny for weeks, but had both delivered in the Play Offs, scoring out 2 goals across the 2 legs. Stern John seemed relaxed enough in the corner. His experience would be vital today. Our Chairman walked in and then straight back out again. It seemed right that nothing needed to be said. It was a miracle that we were even here. Swansea would be a tough team to beat. They had completely destroyed Newcastle just over a week ago, and were playing some nice football. The warning bell went off inside the dressing room and as I turned towards the exit I thought to myself. We can win this.

Way to leave to rest of the world hanging....At least you have something happy to think about. I just blew a 1-0 lead late in the game @ Man City with the Tractor Boys.

We have done it! I jumped and punched the air! My players grabbed hold of me and lifted me above their shoulders. I was a hero. Champagne corks flew all around and I was drenched. It was the most amazing moment of my life. I could hear the fans rush on to the pitch chanting 'Turner is a legend!' I shook hands with the West Brom players. They had given us the game of our lives but we deserved it. The first 90 minutes had finished 1-1 with Di Santo scoring for us. Then Di Santo bagged another but Mulumbu broke our hearts in the 116th minute. Then, in the penalty shoot out; it was James Morrison who missed and the inspirational Moses scored the greatest goal of his career so far. It was the most amazing feeling and he collapsed to his feet. We were both swept up by the players and carried away like heroes. Premier League here we come!
