Max FTW. Seriously man you have done brilliantly at that club with a trophy a champions league football; what did I say? :) Brilliant transfers; looks like you could grasp 2nd/3rd - maybe even a shock premiership victory the way you are going. Never resent the board's investment decisions. They will come good for you in the future and I have to beg my boards for them sometimes. I'm a bit worried about the amount you spent in the transfer window though. I think you should be looking to secure a good position without spending immense sums - at least until 2030 :D.
Fatshit is my name though; I'm afraid. No changing that. I'm a bit worried you've still got the likes of Harewood on your books. I presume nobody would take him? I hate to be a critic Max because you have done a sublime job here and soon you will even have a decent stadium to play. Keep this up Max because it's the only story so far this year worth reading. ;) Bravo!!!
 
Cheers mate ^^) btw Harewood just left for about £600k to Q.P.R so he's gone now :P And yeah the investments will help in the future but it's just a bit frustrating when you get £17m and then spend £8m of it :( Also yeah maybe 2nd or 3rd is possible but I'm just priveliged to begin the top 4, never mind challenging for the title. I think I need a few good prospects as the squad is pretty old so we'll try and improve that :) Im pleased your enjoying the story and hopefully I can keep this going for atleast another 5 seasons :D

Yeah keep it going mate. 600K is a great sum for Harewood at that age. Yeah; it can be frustrating but with your success and a larger more modern Fratton Park you will claw back that money through ticket sales in the near future. Be careful spending too much though because you aren't out of the woods yet. 8-|
 
Keirrison deal could go through:
Brazilian Barcelona wonderkid Keirrison could make a shock move to Portsmouth this week for £5m. Portsmouth are rumoured to of agreed a contract with the youngster and Keirrison could make his EPL debut against Fulham on the day of the season, although will not make his move before the Community Shield game vs Man City on the 7th of August, due to a permit to be decided on the 9th.

Great win and another trophy to add to the currently small collection ^^) :P This doesn't give us any money for the win but it's always nice to win a trophy to get morale up and this is a good start to the season :) Play up Pompey! :D

Cheers & not sure if I do yet, waiting to see if it gets cancelled by the snow (A) Not sure whether to buy Keirrison, it might cost £7m now, what should I do? :S

Why? Hopefully it should snow tonight (as it is forcast this week and today but there was none) or tomorrow so i will either have a half day tomorrow or miss thursday.
 
See you took the advice on Mchedlidze ;) Depends what you need tbh Mchedlidze more of a poacher/targetman and Kierrison a fast striker/complete striker. Great win against City and good luck for upcoming season.
 
if i was you id try to get danny welbeck mate, 4th season and hes my top scorer over rooney villa and torres, was top scorer for half a season last year so should do pretty well :)
 
You may only have 2 trophies but you can think of this in my way, you have just doubled your collection :)

Hey, here are the latest set of results :) No screenshots at the moment as my computer is running extremely slow and the screenshots are coming out fuzzy for some reason, I'll be able to fix it though :)

Fulham 0-1 Portsmouth (Deco):
Great, win and deserved it in the end. We had a poor first half but bounced back with a class 2nd half performance to give ourselves a great start to 2011-2012 :)

Shalke 0-0 Portsmouth (ECC Knockout rounds):
Good result of reflection of the performance. Begovic was top class in goal and deserved his man of the match ^^)

Portsmouth 2-1 Bolton (Toni, Oddo):
Another good performance and a well deserved victory. Both teams had a man sent off but we held on for the win, even after immense pressure from Bolton in the last 15 minutes :) Good result.

Portsmouth 2-1 Shalke (Klose, Boateng) (ECC):
Fantastic result and we're officially into the group stages of the ECC ^^) Also got a nice £6m for qualifying which will help out a lot :D Great performance by the lads, especially as we went 1-0 down early on :)

Just get a good layout etc, but I wouldn't start one unless your good at doing above expectations, the stories are more exciting then rather than the normal positions.
