its a struggle being portsmouth but you are doing well...Goood result against tottenham. What formation are you using??

Lol let's hope so about the FA Cup thing.

& erm, if I'm honest no I don't think we could, we don't have enough finances to back us and we're going to get a transer embargo soon so we can't even do any loans in January. We're about £4.7m in debt at the moment with not many assets, so I might need to sell 1 or 2 fringe players in January to make sure we don't go into administration. Problem is that if we sell, unless we just bring in free transfers, we will continuely get a smaller and smaller squad. So I won't be making any big money deals next summer, unless we qualify for Europe that way getting quite a bit more cash in. It's all dependent on where we finish how I will spend, but to answer your question, no I don't think it's possible because it only takes injuries to a few players, plus it looks like O'Hara will leave in January and we won't be able to extend the loan, although I am trying to at the moment.

I'm using a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, so a 4-4-2 diamond but with no wingers. It works well.

Alright mate cheers. Is the embargo in the latest patch then?
Suppose finishing high enough will get in a bit of money to pay of the loans.
Also money in from the fa cup should help.

Try and get Macheda/ di santo as firepower upfront so you can release one or two strikers. Ekdal, randall etc can also help.

Yeah as I said I'm not buying anyone with any money involved until the loans have been paid off. We've just got the embargo in place until the 1st of February, but I think Donovan will still be able to sign.

& Yeah cheers fatshit, problem with them loan signings is because I'm in the same divisions as the players parent club, they will want a fee. But I'll still and get some sneaky loan signings from abroad from bigger teams in Spain, Germany and France etc.

Mate Ekdal is from Italy. He is swedish. If you get him he can provide a supporting or attacking option for your team and it will allow you to sell a midfielder for money.
 
Very good read. Unlucky about James. Think you could push for europe. I know you may not have transfer money but I'd recommend signing a player with good potential and selling him on I'd say maximum spend £10k.
But then again, I'm inferior to you on this game XD
 
Great Results against Chelsea and Man Utd and dont forget Tottenham. Many people would have fogotten that they have a quality squad. Hows David James injury? Good luck for Cup games aswell.
 
David James is sort of back now, but it seems whenever he recovers, he gets another injury which puts him out for a further week etc so he never plays. Offered him a new contract though along with Kanu, Hreidarrson, Wilson, Basinas, Koroma and some others, no signing fee's allowed though.
 
It's all about the tactics he is using ^^)

If you can get loans you will be fine. They won't charge you for the loan and he is better than loads of the players in your team.
 
Are you using Koroma in your 1st team plans? Also does he turn out to be a good player in the future? I know your not too far in but just wondering because of your previou saves :P
