Max, there's not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said... but seriously man, WOW! Fantastic effort!

I guess the big question is... can you return Pompey to the glory days? (Back to back championship wins)
 
Klose would be a fantastic player on a free. How old is he though now?

Yeah I probably do tbh, Harewood, Roberts, Utaka and Dindane aren't really ECC quality, so they'll probably leave, not all of them but probably 2. :)

Hope you can consolidate top four status and who knows with a bit of luck (and money :P) the title is in grasp. You seem to have a really good knowledge on each of your players ability which makes it a better read.
 
Hey, well here are the summer transfers and if I may say so myself, I'm delighted with the players we've been able to get on free's ^^) We rolled back the years and brought Niko Kranjcar to the club for £6.25m, my highest fee paid at the club so far, and I certainly think he's worth it :D

King to fight for Traore permit:
Portsmouth boss Max King is prepared to fight tooth and nail for Villarreal's Lacina Traore, dubbed the next big thing from the Ivory Coast, to get a work permit for the youngster. Lacina Traore is rumoured to be on the verge of joining Portsmouth for a fee around £7m to boost their attacking options for the upcoming season. :)
 
Some great bargains there. Will take a while for them to gel but im sure you'll pull through. Is Lacina really worth 7m though he seems quite pricey and he doesnt seem to turn out into much. Wouldnt Arian and Destro be better options? Take a look at Levan Mchedlidze, he turns out class and is cheap but i didnt manage to get a work permit for him.

Btw how much budget did the board give you?

They gave me £9.75m budget. So not that high again, but workable :)

btw ive followed all your stories since the beginning ive just never posted for some reason, anyway i wish you good luck for this season hopefully push on and make yourself a permanent fixture in the top 4 ;)
