York vs Crawley

MOM - Richard Brodie 7.6

A good result in the end, with us getting a late equaliser against a side who were just above us in the table. We didn't deserve a win, we were outplayed and a draw was probably the fairest thing possible.

York vs Mansfield

MOM - Michael Bryan 8.3
A pretty disappointing game for us because if Ben Tozer wasn't sent off early on, we could of won the game easily. We were 1-0 down before the 83rd minute where Michael Bryan did it for the 2nd week in a row and got a late equaliser :D Delighted with the late equaliser and mildy pleased with the overall result due to the circumstances.

MOM - Wesley Ngo Baheng 8.3

Fantastic win to get us back on track. We've had a lot of draws this season so it was important to get the win here, especially away from home which makes it priceless ^^) Baheng was class in this game, hopefully he'll keep it up.

Hayes vs York

MOM - Wesley Ngo Baheng 7.9

Great win for us against a good side who were tough to break down all game. Baheng grabbed himself another goal and is looking like a decent loan signing now with another man of the match performance :) Good result, let's hope we can keep it up and stay in the play offs.

Farsley vs York

MOM - Michael D'Agostino 7.6

We got the win which we expected to get, but we should of scored more to be honest. Our strikers weren't on top form, as I gave Brodie and Baheng a rest and brought in Rankine and Gash who were very much below par in front of goal. We got the win in the end which was all that matters, and now we're in thr FA Cup 1st round :D

York vs Chester

MOM - Michael Bryan 8.3

Another win, making it 4 wins in a row wih 3 of them being in the league :) We didn't really get going until around the hour mark when Bryan smashed home a volley from close range giving us the advantage, and then on the 71st minute, Richard Brodie completed the scoring for us to give us all 3 points against a very much troubled Chester team :)

League table..

We're doing well now, getting firmly into the play off places, and being only 4 points behind 1st place Gateshead :) Hopefully we can stay where we are for now, as 3rd would be a great finish for us :D

Top Assists: Daniel Jones (9)

Top Goalscorer: Richard Brodie (14)

Player of the Month: Wesley Ngo Baheng 7.34

So, the pressure hasn't got to us yet, but will it soon?

November update arrives soon..

Nice results there..
Keep it up Maxwellamillian!

It must feel awesome to have a story that is so well followed <)

just read through it all and as usual from the stories you have made i have read this is a brilliant story keep it up :)

Hi Max.

Good October update mainly due to it being in-depth, interesting and a great layout. (Pompey_Dan- nice one! :)) Ngo-Baheng is a class player at that level, though he never quite cuts it at Newcastle for me. Do you think you will go up this year? Some good wins and of course, the unbeaten streak, almost guarantees you the Play-Off place, but knowing you I expect you are going for 1st. It will be tough to stop drawing and start winning. But, best of luck!

November Update

Grays vs York
View attachment 44895
MOM - Daniel Jones 9.0

Great win for us in a dominant performance by the team. We were all over Grays from start to finish and 100% deserved the win. Daniel Jones was in clinical form scoring 2 goals, and playing fantastically well all game. Good result, signs of the team working as 1 unit completely now.

Bury vs York

MOM - Richard Brodie 7.5 - (FA Cup 1st Round)

Absolutely amazing result for us to even come away with a draw from this against one of the best teams in League 2 :O We were firmly dominated by Bury, with Sam Hewson dominating the midfield for Bury, but we managed to ****** a goal with Richard Brodie scoring to give us a replay at our home ground :D

York vs Oxford
View attachment 44897
MOM - Richard Brodie 9.2

Superb result against an extremely good Oxford team who were pretty much at full strength apart from one of their wingers. I set out to play the same as we did vs Cambridge when we won 5-0, sit back, soak up the pressure and hit them on the counter with Brodie and Baheng, and it worked ^^) Great result with Brodie getting 2 goals and also Gash and Barrett getting a goal each after coming off the bench :)

York vs Bury

MOM -
Richard Brodie/Andy Bishop 9.0 - FA Cup 1st Round Replay

Absolutely amazed we won this :D :D I was literally shouting at my screen when Brodie scored in the 92nd minute in extra time to put us 4-3 up, then continued to go near ******** myself at the end when Bury were all over us |) It was pretty much a game of two strikers though, with Bishop getting two for Bury, and Brodie getting two for us. Who knows, maybe next season they'll be in the same division :P Amazing result and we're in the 2nd round of the FA Cup! :O

Tamworth vs York

MOM -
Daniel Jones 8.3

Must admit I was really worried we'd become complacent in this game after our amazing cup triumph vs Bury, but we didn't and gave a top notch performance :) Barrett started in midfield as Saiko was really tired after the Bury game, and made an instant impact scoring for us, and Baheng & Jones also added to the scoreline. Good result, our away form is really starting to pick up now :)

York vs Stevenage
View attachment 44900
MOM -
Daniel Jones 8.3

Another 8.3 rating for Daniel Jones who has been amazing this season, and another fantastic result for us against one of the league's best. Stevenage were around 2nd or 1st before this match, and it was clear to see why they were with them dominating us in the first half. The players came out in a completely different mode after the break, with Shaun Saiko scoring just 11 minutes after the interval which consequently won us all 3 valuable points ^^)

York vs Barnet
View attachment 44906
MOM -
Shaun Saiko - FA Cup 2nd Round

Giant killers is what they call us, don't forget it. Barnet hardly giants, but a club compared to little old York means it was a great win, we fully deserved it to be honest much like the last game vs Bury at home, we were really dangerous in attack with Saiko dominating in the middle and is finally showing some consistency which is what he's been lacking all season. The rest against Stevenage seem to do him some good, and was full of energy all game. Amazing win, bring on the big guns in Round 3 :D

League Table..
View attachment 45070

We are battering the league now, beating teams like Oxford 5-1 at home and Stevenage 1-0 at home both comfortably :) If we can keep this up, we've got a good chance of finishing 1st.

Player of the Month: Richard Brodie 7.74

So, we're still going strong and showing all the doubters how it's done, but how long will it last for? Surely complacency will kick in soon, and if so what consequences?

December comes soon..

P.S.. Since we've had such a good month and we've won every game apart from the 1-1 draw vs Bury, I think we deserve a tune to keep us going (H)
