Pretty incredible tactic defensively, been interested in the Nike defense for a while now and it hasn't disappointed me. Started using it 20 games into the league season with an average Birmingham team in 2012 and have only conceded 1 in 12 so far including draws away to Arsenal and City, wins at home to Chelsea and a 4-0 away thrashing of Villa. Was 5th and now I'm 3rd.
 
I had neglected this site for a little bit as i forgot my password login Doh!.

I'm so glad that alot of people are still enjoying the tactics, I'm working on a 4-1-2-1-2 tactic which is what i made in patch 10.2 and it was awesome so I'm trying to recreate that with 10.3 as I've only used 4-1-2-3 formation in 10.3 and I'd like to try something new.

Any questions that need answering let me know and I'll try my best to help.

would be great if you can come up with a 4-1-2-1-2 again, as have to say prefer the formation to the current one, but the current tactic does work very well in most cases. However, i'd defintaley switch to any 4-1-2-1-2 you can create. you've really nailed these tactics, wish my own efforts had been as consistent, but I keep trying as well.

there is a few comments about making the wizard more effective by moving the defensive line to the middle and increasing the closeing down by 2 notches, do you increase the closing down for every player except the goal keeper?

No, you dont touch the defensive line. You put the closing down for every player level with the defensive line, which is +2 from the middle.
 
wow using this for my weston super mare save after 7 years in charge im in the premiership was struggling with my original tactic so swopped to this and so far my results have been


weston 5-0 hull
west brom 1 -weston 3
man utd 7-0 weston (i expected to lose but by 7 goals is harsh)
arsenal 4-6 weston
chelsea 0-6 weston
im in second place behind man utd
 
My match vs sporting after second half useing the 4-1-2-3

Check this match, i play with this formation for second season now, was a good match sprting is a giant killer we came good after the second half, i love this tactice it realy makes my 3 key strikers blossom , the last goal of the world class striker Aguero makes u jump from your chair have fun watching!

Oh i know lol i posted a screen shot of my Holland game have a look its on the page before this completely dominated. See the classic version you think the closing down and defensive line would work also like the wizard one dave/JP.

I actually think that the wizard and classic tactics have different settings like you could set the tactic up in wizard and the make another with the exact same settings as the wizard but it'll play differently.

I know this because I've tested it out a while ago.

oO) Well thats just mad, only time ive seen anything like that is when im in Stuttgarts position.

Was that your first game in charge? When i went to West Ham i lost my first 4 games then won everything in sight.

It was my second game in charge with them just. drew 1-1 against bayern.
 
So would it be best not implement the closing down tweaks into the classic version?

Can you tell me which tactic version you used? What tweaks did you make yourself?

Also, how did you play Lukaku? Which position is he best in? And did you have to make any special tweaks to his instructions?

I ask because I just bought him as well, but have no experience using him, and he has been struggling so far in my team. Any help would be appreciated :)
 
Many thanks to Mr.Hough and JP Woody for another brilliant tactic. I have been testing your tactics and comparing to my own, but yours are simply fantastic. Well done.

I tested both versions with Villarreal using the classic and with Napoli using the wizard.

With Villarreal I have won comfortably the treble (league, europa league and copa del rey), with Napoli, I could barely win the league in the last game, edging Inter by 1 point. Still, Napoli has a worse squad than Villarreal, and had a media prediction 10th place. So being the winner was awesome.

There two things that I noticed between the two tactics that maybe you are able to clarify to me. In both teams I only signed 4 players, sold 3 or more.

1) The classic version seems to be bit more balanced in terms of defense. Got a lot more clean sheets with them. And all the games lost were by one goal. Whilst with the wizard, I did loose some games by 2 or more goals. Maybe its the safe, maybe its because Napoli has a weaker team.

2) The wizard version is getting me a lot, and I mean a lot of yellow cards. Is this normal? Or is it just my savegame?
