I'm part way through season with my Borussia Dortmund save with the old tactic, so will finish with that and then start the next season with the new version.

this tactic is incredible. I am with barcelona and played 17 games, conceded only 3 goals, record is 15-1-1. my team do great at home with smallest pitch possible but struggle away where pitch is long. what can we do to solve this problem?Many of away games where won by corners or free-kicks and many 1-0

Not sure if this was the aim of the tactic, but on my Roma save I'm currently playing atm, Philippe Mexes has now netted 11 goals and I'm in early December haha! They have all been corners but the corners are incredible I feel I'm going to score everytime we knock it to the back post for the big man. Cracking tactic also I'm top of the table :)
 
Hello guys,

this is my first post here so hello from Brazil to everyone :D. Me and a couple of friends (addicted CM/FM zombies, that play this game since CM 99/00 ) decided to start a little "competition" between us. We all started unemployed but since the game only offers the same teams every time we each picked a Coca-cola League 2 team to manage. I am managing Crewe, and since i have been using Mr. Hough's tactic in my previous games i naturaly went for it again.

We are doing fine, currently second with 67pts, leader is Rochdale with 68pts. The problem is we are conceding far to many goals, 33 in 30 games so far, and a lot due to the defence line been to high i think, so i have come for a little help from the community on how can i at least miniminze this problem, other than that many chances are created (as many are lost but definetly not the tactics fault lol) and i love the way the team plays.

P.S: I am using the classic 4-1-2-3 tactics.

P.S.2: How can i get one of these FM stats signature? They are cool :D
 
i think this tactic requires a good defense, since the defender with the cover role is assigned to chase down any players that get trough your defense so it has to be a quick one..... i think XD
 
for the old tactic, do you need target man? I keep getting 2-1 score with my Man. City :(
 
unbeeten in 110 matchs in prem lost a few away in CL but battered them at home
My manu team is good though
 
One more thing guys, those of you that use Thugs Training, you put you MC under de Midfielders or Att Midfielders schedule?

I was using Darkstar's before.

I put my MC in Midfielders in midfielders schedule. Because that is their position.

I'd say Dzeko. He's too good, if I can say that, on this game. Together with Hulk, he's probably the best striker in the first season. When I bought the top players, I had both them upfront, with Rooney as a sub (it hurts) and they scored over 30 goals each. Fantastic if you enjoy massive wins :P

Won 9-1 vs Stoke or Hull. Can't remember.
 
just finish 2nd season with Borussia Dortmund using the 4-1-2-3 version and finished runners up. So going to try now the 4-1-2-1-2 version and see if I can go one better next season

strikers used this season were Djalo, Barrios, Milevskyi, Wendel, Kadlec, but probably need to add to that, although German transfer budgets pretty poor.

Forget all that i said before, awesome tactic.
I used the wizard version on manutd, and we won the prem and champs league in my first season!
scored over 100 prem goals (Loic Remy is quality in this tactic!) and had the second best defence, we were unbeaten in 32 games.

I have learned to give tactics time to work and not too buy lots of new players.
Im gonna try and make my tactics now!

well done...!!....who did you have up front ?.
 
no it was the 4-1-2-3, but converted to wizard.
I had Rooney in the middle, Remy on one side and Berbatov on the other.
 
Well right no not the best exp with the 4-1-2-1-2,in 9 place with palermo,after around 7 games,still waiting for better perform.
The main part i saw,that the MC and AMC shot to much,and the two ST doesnt shot at all.
