I'm currently using Mr Hough and JP's joint tactic to a lot of success. I tweaked it to a 4-4-2 using TheBetterHalf's advice, which was posted a while ago. With a further few tweaks it works a charm, winning the Prem with Spurs in the first season.

Cheers to all involved in making it, as the number of man hours needed to make a tactic of this calibre must have been a **** of a lot!

AFter half a season with the 4-1-2-1-2 i quitted and switched back to 4-1-2-3 and now im on 3rd place,6 points behind juventus.
before the switch i was 9 place!...
the 4-1-2-1-2 isnt class as the original 4-1-2-3

which 1 are you using

Tactic

Are you still with me good This is the part you want but i hope you have read through the OP as it will help you understand how the tactic plays better.

Here is a Link to the Mr Hough and JP Woody tactic. It's basically the same as the Unbeaten but this is in the Wizard Mould instead of the Classic Style.

I'd say Dzeko. He's too good, if I can say that, on this game. Together with Hulk, he's probably the best striker in the first season. When I bought the top players, I had both them upfront, with Rooney as a sub (it hurts) and they scored over 30 goals each. Fantastic if you enjoy massive wins :P

Won 9-1 vs Stoke or Hull. Can't remember.
wrong
Its welbech he loves it ether right or left side
Hes worth millions in my game and just won player of the year over aguaro
dzecko is good but much better to have fast of the ball forwards

im talking about THE SAME tactic of Hough.
After a sucseful 4 season run with Wreden bremen with 4-1-2-3 i decided to try with palermo the 4-1-2-1-2 and was horible, just switched back to the favour 4-1-2-3.
Never used Classic version.

hello there...my team is doing good right now...but most of the time struggle to hold possession...can anyone help...sometimes my defend also caught by counter attack easily...im using mr hough classic version...should i change to wizard version?some opinion plzzz...

my initial reaction is the same, the 4-1-2-1-2 doesn't seem as effective as the 4-1-2-3...in 3rd season and have strong squad, but don't seem to be adapting well to this.

Used wizard version with Real M,doing ok until got beaten by Sporting 1-0 ,me playing away.Quite a tactic,30 shots, 21 out 9 on goal, 2 ccc,and 11 long shots,Sporting on the other side 6 shots 2,on goal 2 out 1 ccc, 2 long shots. So what i'm i doing wrong, just plug&play.

Next game vs Chelsea, and i must say this tactic is weak, been destroyed in defense ,lucky extremely lucky with Casillas that i dind't conceeded more than 1,dind't count in attack, the man marking system has no chance vs good players, can't realise what makes this tactic a great one.Don't think Real deserves such a tactic .I rate it 7out of 10.

cant some one just ad the corner cheat to this amazing tactic so it will kick *** as it does without but with it it will be unstoppable

hmm just wondering....is there possibilities for the opposition to find the weakness in this tactic after a few season we use it....

The corner tactic on this bad boy is pretty productive itself if you have a tall guy bombing in on that far post. Aston Villa's James Collins is one of my top scorers just from screaming in and bashing anything thats in the air toward goal. Granted, if you want to pretty much break the game exploiting the bug by all means, go ahead. Every now and then I tee it up when I really want to rub it some of my rivals clubs faces.

It's more satisfying just plucking a tall dude with good hops and heading and putting him at the left CB position, in my opinion.

I haven't used this tactic but it did cause me to read up about the Nike Defence.

Usually when I play FM I can't make a good tactic and end up using one from here.
This time, however, I stuck to my own tactic. Playing as Wolfsburg. I was doing ok but only 4th in the league and the board expected a title challenge.

So I read this topic, read about the nike defence and modified my own tactic to include the nike defence. it worked like a charm. Won 11 of my last 12 (drew the other one) and won the league.

So thanks Mr Hough for alerting me to the Nike defence!

This tactic is the bomb, currently playing with burnley and i'm 2nd in the league and in the semi finals in the league cup. Thanks for this tactic man!!
