Mr Houghs 4-1-2-3 Final Unbeaten

Me and JP have been working on a 4-1-2-1-2 tactic for a while and while i've been on an unbeaten run of 50+ games before i deleted the save as it was just a test.

Here is some screens of my fixtures

In this screen the matches highlighted i played all these games with in 2-3 days of each other and i stil never lost.

Now after going on this massive unbeaten run conceding hardly any you'd think that this tactic was unstoppable.... Wrong.

We have had problems with the strikers getting them to score more as my strikers hardly scored any goals it was mainly my amc (cahill) or my defenders (Yobo Distan)

I have been working on this though and beleive i have found a good way to get the strikers scoring aswell as keeping it tight as a nuns front bits in defence.

When i finally think it's perfect and the strikers are srocring 20-25+ a season i'll let you all have a play.

Will give it a try for sure when you upload it. Hope its as good as your unbeatable tactic if not better.
 
ok im using this with my boro squad since alot of the time with my own tactic i managed to win but only by outscoring the oppenents, so if i came up against a stubborn def or a team that likes to break play down i would struggle and be hit on the break all the time.

The only problem i have with it is that the final version (jp+mr hough everton) its a wizard version but the default mentality for the team from start is set to control? and the 2 strikers are set to target men support? wouldnt it be better to use attack , certainly at home and vs weaker oposition?.

Also i changed the strikers roles around to 1 target man attack and 1 poacher since i have agbonlahor i wanted to abuse his poacher style of play, since both midfielders are set to the same role , would it be advantages to position switch them in match ? to make it harder for a team to man mark?.

Also you say not to use OI , but against a player who can run a match if left alone is this wise?

Im doing realy well with this tactic and its slight adjustments i made currently 3rd in prem , which im delighted with considering i was tipped as relegation fodder at start of season

Ofc the jury is somewhat still out on this tactic its only 5 games into the test and im yet to play anyone of any calibre.

The only things im not sure of are
1.its a wizard version or should it be clasic if so im not sure if the linked tactic is the right one.
2.Team menatality set to controll or this is wrong also?
3.there is no 3 only to say much thanks and keep up the good work :)

PS- i play with a pretty narrow pitch at home , if i go somewere that plays with wide pitch and uses wingers how this tactic shapes up , on paper it looks like a wide team would tear it up all day long, just a thought .

Over the past few days we have been having a look at this tactic and we believe that this is quite possibly as good as it can get.

I'm not gonna bother posting screen shots because you have see them already.

The Pitch Size is standard.
No ingame Shouts are used.
No Opposition Instructions are used.

Me and JP are very happy with this tactic and i hope you guys are too.

loved the 4-1-2-3 tactic u made its no unbeatable but as close to it as i think any 1 could get iv tryd a few tatctic with older fm's but promises of great tactics & undefeated tactics were all rubbish so was a bit pesamistic (if thats the right spelling lol) when downloading this but with being in line for the sack & no tactics i made workin for any more than a few games i thought mite as well worked so well iv started games with
celtic edited & unedited db both doing great edited 2 have some extra transfer funds doin better than none scoring more goals but actual progress games won comps etc are about the same
everton won the league & was euro cup runners up in 1st season
bradford got promoted in 1st season in 3rd place & currently in line for auto promotion again will add screenshots if use want (no got them uploaded yet tho)
so im a bit worried about tryin this 1 not becuase i dont think it will work just the 1st 1 is doin so well (best finsih ma wee book noo lol)

screeen shots of my season with celtic using 4-1-2-3 tactic
inc league winners with 5 games to go league final standings scottish & league cup euro cup
& rangers game's home 5-1,6-1,4-0 away 0-1,0-2
will you be doin tactics for the new fm when it comes oot ? or will this 1 work ?

whent back to using 4-1-2-3 today tested half a season out on my save and kept getting rolled over by teams i realy should be putting away, besides personaly for me i dont have the right strike force to make the AM tactic work as it seems to require 2 complete forwards?

I use 1 big guy and 2 small guys in my current tactic to great affect, then again it could just be that AM formations dont suit my team :D

The only problem i have with it is my midfielders score as much as my attackers do , i noticed mr hough made a comment about this also and you said you perhaps had found a way to solve it , id love to hear it right now :)

I solve complacency pretty easily with team talks and such like , my main attackers are - milevskyi agbonlahor and neymar, with milev in the centre but niether one has managed over 15 goals , and although all 3 have bagged 35 or so between them i cant help thinking that if one of them was scoring a few more i may be pushing for euro spots rather than lolygaging around in mid table to top half .

Yeah with 3 strikes,dont expect everyone to score like mad.
In my case my mids are scoring alot.
 
please please can you do a filter for wingers i realy need it ..... feedback is highly appreciated ...... and thank you

Speed crossing dribbling finishing (for inside forward) passing.
have fun....
I want to try Moving the 2 Advanced forward to inside forward wingers,Its works well on my Munich Save with robben and ribery,but want to try it for full season and not just halfs.
Will post results :D

(if houghs allow of course :D)

but if you use wingers you set them up to how you would like them so if mr hough did a filter how would he know your settings? to provide the right attributes for you

im using it for hertha bsc and i also using it for man united and getting varied results

for hertha ive played 26
games won 15 and drawn 3 lost 8 mand utd played 26games won all 21 drawn 4 lost 1(wolves 1-0)
